I got it out of the garage and drove it to the Walgreens. The lovely wife asked me to run an errand for her.

I noticed it had clicked over 2700 miles when I pulled back into the garage and it got me wondering how many miles have been put on it since I changed insurance companies last December.

I got the Smartmiles policy with the module that plugs into the diagnostic port and I'm able to see how many miles I've driven it since December 5th, 2021.

Having a company provided vehicle sure keeps the miles down on the Ranger. I still plan for it to be the last vehicle I'll ever purchase. :)

I didn't make a picture today, but here's one from when I went to the Hardware store a few weeks back.

Look at that sporty Supercab!

This weekend I was working timing at the NCR-SCCA Time Trial at NCCAR. On Saturday a Civic decided running was not mandatory and after he was flat towed off of track the car still would not run. So, I borrowed a trailer from a friend there and towed the Civic house a little over an hour from the track. Sad he couldn't enjoy the full weekend, and the tow truck said they wanted $700 to tow him home. Gas in the truck was maybe $85 for the tow, which he covered.

Had to do a little wet sanding on my driver side running board. A overloaded tricycle with water jugs on it run into the board. Luckily the board prevented the truck from getting hit. The guy could not even see except only to the front and left side, he came across the lane into me. It just peeled a small strip of plastic off the edge. I told him he better start staying in his lane if he can't see. Between the tricycle and scooter riders here it can be a nightmare. The drivers here are the worst I have ever seen anywhere I have ever traveled.

How did you secure your ARB compressor ?
I drilled holes in the bedside , and used eye bolts to give the bungees a place to anchor. The weight of the ARB box rests on the wheel well. It has not got away from its little dock, in numerous trail adventures..

Made a trip the the Urgent Care for a quick x-ray on my girlfriends knee. o_O We went on a hike this morning and one minute she's next to me the next she's down. Luckily it's only a skinned up forearm and a sprained knee (but very swollen) so we're still moving forward on our trip just a little slower now. lol She's always had a bad knee and it figures it that one she landed on but she's a trooper and will be back on the trails by the time we get to Moab.

Picked up and delivered a sofa for my daughter. It's nice to have a truck to do things like that for your kids when the need arises

Those black angus get out at night and you can't see 'em until they're inside the cab with ya! Those black angus make good burgers and T-bones though!

Wow hope you neted a positive cash flow out of the transaction... And to think of yh gas mileage sends a shiver down my spine when it's 6$ a gallon where I am just for 87
With the current market for used cars,I did very well on that front.
Luckily the super Snake was not marked up from its 98,600 so.
‘Fuel prices are what they are. #FJB!

It’s not as fast as my Hellcat was,but it is a numbered Shelby, and is a HOOT to drive.

Ouch! This wasn't Ranger related but I was only a few feet from it when I sawed into my thumb with a pruning saw! It sure did a number on my thumbnail and looked far worse than it was.

Hope her knee heals up fast! =)
