Rear Armrest won't come down

I never tried the push on it. Mine opens pretty easy when I pull a bit up and out. If I just pull out it stays in place and mocks me.

That reminded me that mine used to be covered too but I removed it early on because it was such a pain to open.

Ya, I really don't think mine was ever latching, until recently. Once it did, oh man was it hard to get unlatched. I will cut the leather around the catch and glue my strap back on.

Tried to open mine......thought something was broke. Got out the owner's manual (don't tell anyone!) and noted on the pull strap you have to pull 'UP' to release. I was pulling it straight out or down.

Gotta laugh......GPS was taking me in circles in Oklahoma City at night in the rain.......told the wife I gotta take a leak.....went in to a gas station and asked where the heck I was and how to get to where I was going. Bought the wife and I a Mountain Dew and told her that was a relief! LMAO

Can somebody please remove the armrest drink holder and take a picture to show how the strap was attached? I cut the leather where the catch was so it's a lot easier to open now ,but I need to reattach the strap and I can't see how it came from the factory.

In this picture of mine, I have the strap just laying there, but with the drink holder out, it exposes the lock.

I've had my truck over three years and didn't even notice the armrest in the back seat, LMAO. A couple days ago my son asked how to put it down and I responded with, "huh?" It took us a minute to figure it out and now he has a new spot to spill drinks in my truck.
