New member here....Just got my new white XL Ranger Super Crew . I sorta wanted the old school look with steel wheels and found one I liked . What would be a good size tire to put on that’s a little taller and possibly a tad narrower? I like the BF Goodrich T/A KO and have had good luck with those in the past. The tires are 255/70/16 on the wheels now , what would work ?

If you’re willing to upgrade to a 17”, my calculations show a 255/70r17 is .5” larger diameter than the factory size. It’s what I’m going to spec out to replace my 18” wheel/tire package as I’m going to a 17” wheel now

Those are the tires i a, thinking of getting also, how do they sound on the road?
For an aggressive tread they are pretty quiet. I have had them on several past trucks, and always had good results.

Full lock and no rubbing? That is awesome, I did not know we could fit those!
Yup, I'm betting it will hit if turned and the suspension cycles / compresses, so I'm not 100% final on this setup, but with some high clearance crash bars or a very slight 1" lift up front, I think it will be A-ok. But it works as is with no rubbing.

Anybody tried or know of anyone running anything bigger than 33’s (i.e. 285/75/17) with the offset intrusion bars like those by Fabtech or Pro Comp?

Perhaps, with a level or =< 3” lift?
