  1. Washington 18" Lariat Magnetic Factory Wheels & Tires

Hi, are these still available? And where in WA are you located? Brandon
  2. Outer CV Joint Overextended. Advise???

Is that in inner joint? Like the one that only moves in and out and closest to the transfer case? The videos are for the rzeppa type outer joint of the axle nearest the knuckle and hub. They won’t apply to that inner joint I’m afraid. Completely different type of joint. I’ve not personally had...
  3. What to do with your takeoffs??

Sold all four of mine. Bought a matching 5th rim/tire when I picked mine up. Kind of wish I’d thought that one through a little better. No TPMS installed in the spare means I don’t get to rotate it in until I find the time to have it done.
  4. What to do with your takeoffs??

Looked at pick n pull or whatever my area’s equivalent, but their website seems to only indicate an interest in whole cars. I’ll have to call them and see if they’d have a use for it. You’re right though. If anyone can find Jimmy, it’s them!
  5. What to do with your takeoffs??

Probably seemed like some BS at first, I’m sure, but probably a quick way to learn! For “fun”, I could chunk the tubing, halve a chunk, and fill in the resulting half-pipe. That’d be a lot of mig wire. How much does that cost? ? Just kidding. Ain’t got time to fill anything in, but I may use...
  6. What to do with your takeoffs??

Hmmm, that’s a really good thought, actually. So, I AM about to start learning to weld. And metal stock ain’t cheap. Cutting it down into easily storable chunks and using it for personal scrap to practice and make things later on is much better than just junking it. :like:
  7. What to do with your takeoffs??

Yeah, that’s definitely a smart idea if you have the space. In fact, I thought about doing that, but space comes at a premium in my garage. That exhaust will never net the value of the space it takes and the hassle of constantly moving it out of the way for the next few years.
  8. What to do with your takeoffs??

Hi all, I’m a DIYer, and usually maintain my own vehicles. I’m no stranger to recycling fluids and many replaced parts that don’t just go in the trash/recycling are returned for refund of core charges. My Ranger is really my first foray into major aftermarket upgrades and large component...
  9. Ranger less powerful than the competitors?

https://www.carscoops.com/2020/04/ford-performance-gives-the-ranger-a-boost-but-its-no-ranger-raptor/ Wow! That’s news to me! Guess someone better tell Ford to lower the specs on our Rangers. ? If you’re thinking of flaming this article, don’t bother. Comments are disabled for some reason...?
  10. 2.5 inch level install

Don’t know the answer to your question, but I do know those studs are a PAIN to get out of there! Ymmv, but they wouldn’t budge with a normal 2# hammer. Eventually, got my hands on a decent air hammer. Even then, one stud took 10 mins of hammering and a shattered bit. The other wasn’t so bad...
  11. Washington Sold: [WTS] 17” Sport Magnetic Wheels, Dynapro ATM Set

  12. Emergency Lights

Did you upload the right pic? Pretty sure that’s an F150. Edit: Derp - Never mind. Maybe I should read the entire post next time.
  13. Dark or Clear Side Markers

I assume you mean that the marker lights would be blacked (or magnetic’d ?) out and only visible when lit?
  14. RTR Fender Flares, is anyone running these??

Thank goodness! Someone has finally addressed that dreadful look of the other flares where the added width of the flare terminates at the bumper. Whole reason I never even considered the bushwackers.
  15. Goodbye Ford. We're gonna miss ya!

Yeah, just thought I’d throw some friendly flak your way for the miss, there. We’ll see. Things have changed, but Ford was the only US automaker who didn’t need a bailout last time.
  16. Goodbye Ford. We're gonna miss ya!

Ummm... a Ford? Fox shocks, fender flare to bumper placement, fuel door placement and shape, oh yeah, and the Raptor rims sort of indicate a Raptor. Unless Ram or Toyota are building then these days...
  17. Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays to you and yours, Phil, and to the rest of you forum members! Best, Brandon
  18. Ford official tune?

Hilariously, I knew you were PNW from these gas prices! Haha
  19. Suspension Torque Values

I don’t think Icon knows them, either. Have you checked the shop manuals here ? Specifically, the front suspension manuals for 2WD and 4WD should contain all the torque specs you need for those components.
  20. Rangers on your street

I live in Super Duty and Tacoma country. Lot’s of Ford badges, but no fellow Rangers in my neighborhood just yet. Betcha I see some of those Tacos replaced in 2020, though, as the Gen 5 gains recognition.
