Hey all I’m new here! Just put a deposit for my 2022 ranger xlt fx4 in carbonized grey! It’s said to show up next month hopefullyso this will be the start of my build thread for my truck!

this thread will be for bs, photos, adventures, and modifications!

No pics yet so only the stock image haha

FYI the truck is already built it’s just waiting to be picked up

stuff for the build im wanting to do things may vary.

Eibach 2.0 kit.- installed
bds intrusion bars-installed
Wheels and tires:
bahia blue mr701 method race wheels 17x8.5x0.-installed
275/70/17 cooper st maxx
Light brackets:
589 bumper bracket.-will happen
sdhq ditch light brackets-soon
Bumper:
589 hidden winch mount.-will happen
Siders:
coastal offroad weld it kit(unless i find another brand).-will happen
Flares:
bushwaker oe style smooth.-maybe
or rtr fender flares.-maybe
Intake:
mishimoto intake-will happen
Exhaust:
mbrp single exit.-maybe
Skids:
589 rear shock skid.-most likely
589 ifs skid (maybe oem might be fine for me now?).-prob not
Headlights:
alpha rex black edition.-will happen
Lights:
diode dynamics flood lights white SS3s(ditch lights)-soon
diode dynamics spot/flood amber SS3s (fog lights)-will happen
diode dynamics spot white SS3s x4 (lower bumper lights) will happen
589 bumper lights x2 RC 6" bar- most likely will happen
Tuning:
ford factory power pack calibration tune +45hp-most likely
Bed:
soft topper in either tan or black-will happen
Intrusion beams:
readlift beams-installed
bed damper:
team damper?-installed
window tint:-soon
standard level-windshield-50%
premium-driver/passenger-20%
premium-rear windows-35%
premium-back glass-35%

Things replaced:
275/70/17 falken wildpeaks (had issues)

Nah this one is carbonized grey it’s close to Toyotas magnetic grey thou which I own with my tacoma

The truck is already built it is sitting at a lot waiting to be dropped off. I’ve ordered stuff before but this is the first it’s actually already done and just waiting be picked up

Yup so far I’ve liked all the ones I’ve driven so I’m excited to get it! It will suck selling my tacoma but time for new things

Yup! I wanted that really neat red but nobody could get one so I started looking for the grey and found this one

fox 2.0 coilover set front and rear.
or fox 2.5 coilover set front and rear.
camburg upper control arm.
Wheels and tires:
going to take my stealth 6s off my tacoma and use them on the ranger.
285/70/17 maybe cooper st maxx (ran in the past and did good).
Light brackets:
589 bumper bracket.
any companys ditch light brackets.
any companys back up light brackets.
Bumper:
589 hidden winch mount.
589 tow hook bracket.
Siders:
coastal offroad weld it kit(unless i find another brand).
Flares:
bushwaker oe style smooth.
or rtr fender flares.
Intake:
ggr snorkel(maybe).
roush intake.
Exhaust:
mbrp single exit.
Skids:
589 rear shock skid.
589 ifs skid (maybe oem might be fine for me now?).

well before anyone else gets to it, you better throw a tailgate damper on your list.

My two cents, the Fox 2.0's are great shocks for everything expect hardcore off-roading. Regular f-ing around I think they'll be just fine. I also quite like my SDHQ Ditch Light brackets, they bolt to the same spot the hood hinge does, and they don't move with the hood which was a big selling point for me.

tailgate damper? ill have to look around never heard of it haha

and ya the fox 2.0 is a more light duty shock but maybe that will keep me away from following jeeps in 37s again.... thats what did in my tacoma and why im looking for something new! ill take a look into that brand on the ditch light brackets thanks man!

so out of curiosity what is the damper for? just to make it softer to open i guess? i just drop my gate on my tacoma lol
