Pricing is now on the Jeep website, I have a 2019 Lariat 501A Super crew, so i did a comparative model for the Gladiator which is the Upland and loaded it up with the features I have on my Ranger and the MSRP came out to $52,600 WOW that is crazy. The Rubicons are close to $65k fully loaded!

$35k base compared to $24k base for Tacoma/Ranger
Now, now. Let's compare apples to apples.

Jeep Gladiator:
  • only comes in Crew Cab
  • only comes in 4X4
  • starts at $35k including shipping
The base Ranger XL Crew Cab 4X4 including shipping is $31875. That's only a $3k difference.

Now mind you, the Gladiator does not come with an automatic transmission as standard (or power windows), but then again, the Ranger doesn't come as a convertible with removable doors, a fold down windshield and an SFA, so I'll call it a wash.

I love my Ranger, but Jeep is going to sell absolutely every one of these that they make.

I know right. you need all these additional beefier bits to achieve its maximum toe capacity. = $$

Gladiator is going to be ultra expensive it's going to be near impossible to find one under 50k

I think the fact you can get it on the F-150 made everyone think it would have been included on the Ranger. Meh, no big deal.

Surprise surprise your $60K Jeep doesn't tow very well.

Skip to 9:00 to see the trailer pushing around the Jeep in/out of it's lane. Gladiator has no Tow/Haul mode unlike Ranger.

Also skip to 12:00 to hear that poor engine redlining at 6,000 rpm and struggle to hit 60 MPH.

At 4:15 you can see their WD hitch bracket is cracked in half... Safety first!
