Maybe Ford should build a decent product. I'll likely buy a USED ford again someday but not the expensive junk they are building now. My first Ford (1994 Ranger) was the biggest POS I ever owned. I gave Ford a second chance and they failed again. Peace out.

Sold my beautiful Ranger today due to these issues. I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I was a little underwater on my loan but worth it for peace of mind. Good luck everyone.

The constant shifting is not good for any transmission. I would do what dmeyer said and manually force it to stay in the lower gear.

I didn't drive it all that far so can't really say.

I have numerous bent fins just from bugs. Speed limit is 80 in Idaho and we have some big bugs but I wasn't expecting this much damage at 10,000 miles. I'll be using my vacation to find something to protect it.
