How much is it to fix a tire in your Area!

Thought everyone would like to see the variance of pricing around our states.
Here in Hawaii a plug cost $25, not off car or anything fancy just a push-in plug.

with tax it is $29, to remove tire from the wheel & patch it properly.

Discount Tire and if they're to busy I'll go to our local shop which is S&S Tire. They charge $25.00 for a tire patch which is what I'd prefer. I do carry a tire plug kit because I'm on new construction sites often and for some reason my tires are a magnet for nails.

Just got one done today. $27.10 with tax remove from car & patch the wright way. No Discount Tire here either. Miss them. Used them a bunch when we were in Texas.

I carry a tire repair kit (plugs) for the odd time I’ve needed it. It’s totally worth having one in your breakdown/recovery kit. If not for you, for someone else. The look on their face when you remove a screw or nail, plug it, and air them back up in just a few minutes is priceless. ? ? ? ? ?

I have been using this type of repair kit for 40 years, you don't have to remove the tire. Pull the nail and insert the plug air it up and go. I have never had a problem.
