how are they making any money??
So I found a nice car wash. They fully clean the interior, do the glass, hand wash and use a foam gun and air blower to dry. It took 1 hour to do. They charged me $4.

That's why I like my mobile tint guy. Tint shops usually have to follow the laws which is understandable and he'll put on whatever you want. I bought my Ranger off the lot so they had already had the windows tinted which are to light for my liking and I didn't want to pay to have them redone. My Jeep I had him do the fronts at 18% and the rear is blacked out limo. :sunglasses: I'm still thinking of having him do the windshield at 50%.

That looks great with the whole white with black accents thing you have going on. Reminds me of your old Taco a bit - it looked like someone sprayed its windows with BBQ paint. ?

Very cool. ?

Thanks Duke! Good eye as my Taco was tinted by the same company and I did the same % on this except the rear on the Jeep is limo. One good thing is the Jeeps drivetrain drives much smoother than that Taco. lol?

I went to visit Phillipines 8 years ago and met a lot X-Pats, they are making good over there, some have their own business, and some are just retired, they are all leaving like kings and queens with thier dollars. I got some thing going over as well.

I got the “special” ones that mount upside down thus ensuring crooked parking. ;)
Thats Cool! :sunglasses:. If you turn them right side up, then will that be the straight parking mode?

I got all windows and windshield treated. Back is indeed darker than front, but not by all that much.
But it is way more comfortable for me to drive now.
Might be a dumb question, but how does having a windshield tint affect the ability to put park pass stickers and crap like that, that they tell you to put on the inside of the windshield?

The tint is also inside. I wouldn't put a sticker on tint.

I wouldn't tint a windshield. But I drive at night sometimes.

Plus one to what @D Fresh said and it might be about being able to easily see or read the pass through the tint.

Rotated the Ranger today to defrost the other side.
Note to those with mirrors folded in, if there is a layer of ice on them, don't unfold them until they defrost. The crunchy sound wasn't good. Hoping I find they still work tomorrow when it warms up.

Good tip. I try to fold my mirrors in at work and have learned to pay attention to the nights weather in order to decide if it's prudent. It's probably OK for light icing but it sounds horrible.

Don't want to break the likely expensive little doodads I've come to enjoy.

Sadly daily wages are about $6-$8 per employee. The place runs nonstop for 10+ hours. They are making money(owner) as they are adding a additional stall now.
