Windows tinted.
I admit I dont understand all the numbers, but I do understand there's an immediate difference in the feel inside the truck with heat reflection, less glare, and overall darker-ness inside. The older I get, the more light-sensitive I am.

30% generally blocks out 70% of the light. It's really not that dark of a tint if they just did the front 3 windows. If they did the whole truck the back will be pretty dark. I just did 20% on my front 3 windows, matches the factory on the back pretty well. But it depends on the brand and actual color of the tint also. And if I'm reading your receipt correctly. Looks good!

Edit: maybe you got 30 on the front and 70 on the back?

Hey Tracy @Tracy Bowman, how are those mirrors for parking? ?
Asking for a friend.
Interesting note: all mirrors are blind spot mirrors if you adjust properly them to point at you blind spots and just use you rear view mirror for, well looking behind you.

Saw this in a YouTube video, and realize it is weird we all adjust our side views so we mostly see behind us. I’ll admit it is a hard adjustment to get used to however.

Hi Folks,

The Ranger was pressed into service yesterday, but did not even move. It was our clothes rack. Margie and I tried to get our three mile walk, waiting until afternoon as the winter rains and cold and damp weather dried up. So at the half way point, the heavens opened up again and we got thoroughly soaked and it continued to rain after we got home...so the Ranger served as our clothes dryer...hanging tops and pants on the mirrors, items like my cowboy hat on the Bak tonneau cover or the hood...Everything dried overnight.

Best,
Phil

That's why I like my mobile tint guy. Tint shops usually have to follow the laws which is understandable and he'll put on whatever you want. I bought my Ranger off the lot so they had already had the windows tinted which are to light for my liking and I didn't want to pay to have them redone. My Jeep I had him do the fronts at 18% and the rear is blacked out limo. :sunglasses: I'm still thinking of having him do the windshield at 50%.

I got all windows and windshield treated. Back is indeed darker than front, but not by all that much.
But it is way more comfortable for me to drive now.

I had my fronts tinted right after I bought it. I want to put tint on the back windows to make the factory tint a little darker.

I got an inexpensive cover. Only about 250. I only put it on for road trips or if ill be needing the bed as a trunk. Really easy to put on and off, make it last that much longer by keeping it out of the elements

It will help your AC be more efficient too. Less stress. Technically you will get better fuel economy, but it's .01%. :)

Plus prevent UV damage of the interior.

Was 70 for the windshield?

Ceramic 80% is great on the windshield in my opinion. Can't hardly see its there, but it knocks down headlight glare, and the heat reduction is significant.
