You won't get this till the truck starts production :)
Guys there is light at the end of the tunnel. The tracker page seems to be lagging behind reality. Look what showed up today. Will be picking it up tomorrow. This process started on 9/28/21.

Placed an order for a Silver 22 XLT FX4 Sport 302A Spray-In, less than two weeks ago (I did get confirm email from Ford). After researching more, I decided I wanted to add the factory tow hitch package and eliminate the spray in. Figured it would be better to "correctly" spray in a "better" aftermarket, and better to have Ford install their hitch vs someone later ripping into the rear bumper.

Called the dealer, he stated he didn't think it was goin to be an issue, and that as long as Ford wasn't close to building it already, there would be no issue in modifying the order at this point. He also added Ford's spray in usually added more time to the build anyways, from what he has been seeing, and he agreed with going with an aftermarket spray in that is warrantied for life vs just three years....and costs about the same to spray in.

I drove down to the dealership during lunch and the salesman confirmed order was modified and to just wait for Ford to email when the build will take place. He was very adamant about checking with FORD and not the dealership about the build times. He stated he has numerous people calling every week checking on the status of their vehicles, and he said that the dealership "supposedly" knows less than the customer when it comes to the build dates. He said once the vehicle is built, then the dealership knows more than the customer regarding arrival to dealership.

He also stated that most likely the 8-12 weeks, that was initially stated to me for the vehicle to arrive, would probably be double that time frame. He said almost all his orders on most of the vehicles are still about 20 weeks out. He said the worst is for commercial vehicles, F250 and Transit, which are even longer. FYI: Transit is assembled in the Turkey plant, and shipped to US:facepalm:.

Just wanted to put my two cents in thus far.

It wasn't bad before all these shortages when you could place an order and get it in 6-8 weeks. Now it's a coin toss with all these constraints. Hopefully you all get them soon as the wait is well worth it!

Here's something to help pass the time, it helps! ?

But they are all full!

Wow :frown: Based on what the dealership just told me, March is when you SHOULD be getting it?? But if you haven't received any build date yet, and others on here who ordered AFTER your reorder have a build date, I would verify your order wasn't lost in translation ?? Especially with the 21-22 change over??

Sometimes I wish I never found this part of the forum, too many inconsistencies in how these orders are processed  I gave myself a timeline, and if I feel my order is taking too long or this process is THAT screwed up, I may just abandon ship and go a different route all together. Either way, hope you and others start seeing progress and that will motivate those behind us to see that glimmer of hope in all this mess ✌

That doesn’t make much sense as there are several people on the forum who ordered a 2021 around the same time and got upgraded to a 2022 in late oct/early nov (myself included) that are closing in on delivery times.

That's what I'm saying. Doesn't seem consistent. I'd verify again with your dealership since you "re-ordered". That seems to be the hiccup in your specific scenario??
