The cap is below the height of the antenna, but not the rails. The rails are definitely higher.
Awesome thanks. How do you like the quality so far?

So far so good, the only issue I have had is the light switch on the gas prop for the rear window. It sometimes moves or gets moved out of adjustment if you aren't paying attention when loading larger items. Easy enough to put back though.

Very happy with it. We’re fussing to seal the front edge where it has to match the Ranger’s annoying bulkhead dropped edge, but ARE is sending a fitting to try. Enthuze supplied one with the tonneau I used to have on this truck that sealed that front edge fine.

Who’s that. I’m impressed! There’s an other trend about EZ lift someone says he wasn’t able to make it work with is Ranger, but he had a snugtop so I don’t know.

Hey Desmond,

It’s the base model Action Truck Accessories topper but it’s made by ARE. My guess is it’s ARE’s base model - it’s very utilitarian - white rough fibreglass interior - nothing fancy but it fits great and looks good. About $2,000 installed if I recall correctly.
I'm jealous, you must get better pricing since you're so much closer to where they're made. I ordered the exact same topper in September and will be paying $2650. How long did you have to wait for yours?

Here’s my RSI. I love the gullwing and pocket windows. I installed a roof cargo net, and some essential tool bags to the shell using magnets.

Tracy, I love that you said that. Whenever my wife and I would be out, people would always offer me a drink, but when I’m the driver, I don’t touch a drop - it’s a hard and fast rule for me.

Of course, I would always be faced with a bit of pressure to have ”just one” - usually by relatives or friend’s from my wife’s side. I would just look them in the eye, nod my head toward my wife and say, “Precious cargo”. That was all it took and it was never brought up throughout the evening again.
That’s a wonderful rule! It shows how much you love your wife. ?

I want to see some pics of everyone’s truck with a camper shell! I love the idea of having one, but I always felt they looked rather “grandpa-ish”. I’m trying to find a cosmetically appealing shell that seals nicely. I’ve retired my lifted 1999 Suburban and miss the ability to haul the wife, 3kids (in car seats), 70# dog, tools, food, supplies, beer cooler/s all inside and out of the elements! For the love of God show me something cool because my wife is tired of getting dusty/cold/sunburned back in the bed! ?

Roof racks are off for the moment. My dog (named Ranger...before the truck) for scale.
