I would reply if the OP wasn't a hit and runner. Quite a funny thread. Come back next time(3 months give or take) for another showdown of "mY TuNe, HiS TuNe"
Well to be fair not everyone lives on here like we do. ?

exactly....

this is where the mods step in and close it??? #FAIL
Since the arguing and name calling stopped there's no need to lock it. With that said Livernois is the best. ?

Personally, the only thing I have ever towed or hauled with my Ranger, is my own ass! I've never used anything but the highest octane I could buy, when I needed fuel. I change the oil and filter every 4,000 miles. The latter is just because, and my heavy right foot. No it is not a Mustang with all the goodies, or even an ST. It is a truck! I really don't need one, but I often travel across the farm yards (when they're dry) a whole lot. The back seat has been used one time! If I have any other reason to own a truck, it is to meld into every other vehicle in Roswell, NM. Read that as 50% truck!
Oh! I'm not a redneck either!

You guys are fucking funny. A lot of bickering. That's okay. A good bicker can sometimes be fun. All I really want out of a tune(I don't tow anything) is better shifts, proper speedometer calibrations and enough power to go a little faster. Heck, I've already gotten a ticket and several warnings(from the cops and the wifey) about my speed. I do get a lot out of this thread. I used to drive rally cars. WRX's and a dyno tuned STI. As someone said these trucks are not rally cars. A little smoother performance is always good. If my Ranger were too souped up, I'd be in big trouble.

Get one you can throw a Cobb tune on.
The STI I had was fast. I upgraded the intake and exhaust myself. Of course it wouldn't run right until I got a tune. I took it to a tuner in Stafford, Tx.(just outside of Houston). For $500. they dyno tuned it. It had 300 whp at all four wheels and 400 at the engine. It would do 0 - 60 in 4.4. A lot of fun. Just to be clear, my wife got all the tickets in it.

and I am barely taking part in it
Man I was just trying to see how much power I could push out off this thing to piss off my dad in his stock Raptor lmao. Didn't know I'd start the great war of Ranger5G.

Time to retire, that way you will have more time for Ranger5G!

Better get all your Mods done first or you'll be looking for another job soon enough. :curse: ?

Will reply to this as well. Can't set at my computer all day and check. This forum is almost as bad as the subaru ones for people being toxic.

Man I'm 24. I'll probably never get to do that!
