I'm a big Unleashed Fan! I've tried 5-Star, Gearheads, SSI Tuning on my 19' Ranger and (In my opinion) the Unleashed 93 Octane tune is the smoothest, easiest drivability with best power delivery. In addition the customer service is top notch...any changes I asked for I had them back in literally hours or less.
I also used Unleashed on my last 2 cars...both Focus ST's.

Which of the tunes had the highest HP and torque?

Lol this forum has been great for years I've just recently seen you step in bashing mishimoto every chance you got. We all have different opinions I enjoy reading on this forum but this thread in particular is a little rough.
Well yeah I get a shit part that's "backorderd" for like 4 months when it only lasted a month. Yet they are selling the kits yet. Companies and their priorities. I'm not the only one, there are many people that have had issues with their couplers/hoses! And I've been on here since like March. What does that have to do with anything? I've modded/customized like 25 vehicles in my life. I'm not fresh off the boat! But from the little I come on here it's just who's got the bigger dick comments. I thought the mazdaspeed forums were rough.

I get the frustration I know that when I order something I am constantly checking the shipping it's pretty bad that I only order stuff in stock because I don't like waiting, it sucks. I also understand manufacturing and I know that there are defects in some batches.
I think a lot of unnecessary comments come from a lack of emotional maturity as well.

I am currently running a custom file that "Torquerules" (member on this forum) and Unleashed came up with. It's basically their 93 octane performance tune with improved shift points (stays in gears just a little longer) and doesn't jump into 9th or 10th until you on the highway around 60-65mph.

I know everyone has their own opinion but for me the 5-Star tunes were just not as smooth. The truck just seemed "jumpier" to me. It went like hell when you floored it but we don't drive that way all the time.

Livernois can adjust things to how you like too. I had them send me the towing shift pattern without the engine braking on a tune. But towing mode still is normal.

On the 5star in drive was it smooth after the trans did it's relearning? I drive an hour to school everyday and when I drop it into sport I am usually flooring it and then I pop it back to drive when I catch up to more traffic. When I'm in sport I haul ass but this is definitely something to think about. My mpg is currently 14.4 and I've seen it at 13.5 I burn about a quarter tank to school and a quarter back when flooring it. I tried doing 60 in drive but for an hour drive it is sooooo boring but I did save gas.

Sounds like you drive a bit harder than me! haha! Bottom line I don't think you can go wrong with any of the reputable Ecoboost tuners!

I mostly want the tune for the time trials on a rally track that I'm starting in January but I know that I'm going to use the tune for my daily. How long does it take to switch tunes? Like 5 minutes? I think ideally it is best for me to buy just the bdx sct then get the daily 93 tune from unleashed and the performance 93 tune from 5star I'll research the costs.

I would reply if the OP wasn't a hit and runner. Quite a funny thread. Come back next time(3 months give or take) for another showdown of "mY TuNe, HiS TuNe"
