the stock 2.3?
Mine is very moderately upgraded. Ill punch it in the next few days and look down. This could have been before the transmission exploded, try not to look down much when I floor it. Try not to floor it a lot too.

Loose transmission could have done all sorts of wild shit.

Is this a joke or serious? Before a transmission goes bad the clearances are typically loose. So loose transmission in that sense. Or the TC/VB goes and takes everything out.

No problem. Honestly wasn’t sure of you were messing around. But I was using mechanic slang. I paid more attention to RPM and gear prior to it breaking. I honestly dont look now at all. Making a Home Depot run at some point today. Long empty country road. Ill look down for the first shift and let you know.

Alright in drive it shifted at 5850 roughly based on my scan gauge. I did not try sport mode at all.

ok thank you dereku,i was just curious about it,i dont do it every time i drive, but every now and then ,especially during the hot summer time temps,it helps burn off whatever fuel is in the engine oil,and it does help
i think some of these guys thought i was revving high rpm after every stop lol
