Got the recall stuff too. At least the packet does a pretty good job of explaining how to check if your seatbelt was assembled incorrectly. Mine are both fine, but it could be seriously dangerous if yours are incorrectly assembled and you need your seatbelt to save your life. What a crazily boneheaded manufacturing mistake.

Here's the video the recall notice has a link for.

The recall about the child restraints is still a little less clear. I really don't think the head restraint is the thing that will keep a car seat from being installed within the level range. The pics they show seem to indicate that the vertical seat back is the problem.

I use a booster seat and just removed the head rest to allow it to fit better.
Yeah, my belts are fine also.
I think the headrest recall is to possibly replace the fixed headrests with the folding type. I think I read somewhere on the forum that this was likely coming up. Not sure, but maybe.....

I've never had a car where the headrests didn't interfere with a forward facing child seat, but usually the headrests could be removed and reinstalled easily. I removed one headrest on my Ranger, but wouldn't call having to unbolt the seat back easy. maybe the replacements will just have shorter posts, so that they can be removed and installed as needed. Not that I'd wish the seat behind me on any adult, at least it would be an option if the headrest were easy to put back in. If I remove the booster, I take the seat bottom out as well to make it not an option at all.

Just got my Stubby in the mail, to which my wife stated: " You already have one". Don't know what she means?

At first I thought you posed the same link twice and was going to suggest glasses again. ??

Still have the recall for the taillights that I never had checked. I know that was an intermittent issue and so far mine hasn't caught fire so I'm guessing mines ok. ?

I've found these types of threads entertaining on other forums, so I'll start off...

My Ranger Raptor front grill just arrived - straight from Thailand!

Very well packaged

Build date on door sticker is March 2021.
Numbers on original window sheet indicate 03/22/2021.
My build date is also 3/21. I haven't received any notice yet. When/if I do, I will probably check it myself. I hate taking my vehicles to the dealer unless absolutely necessary.

So I went and bought this service step for detailing my Ranger. Us short guys/gals need all the help we can get. ? It'll come in handy for reaching the hood, windshield, working on the engine and also getting stuff in/out of the bed. It's really well made and heavy duty and folds up nice to store it. I also like the tire levelers which keep it planted tight against tires while you're on it. You can but direct from Northern Tool also.

The wife and daughter were giving directions. Siri says this is the fastest route. Whatever. Give me my road atlas. (Yes I am old!)

When Hertz first had GPS units in cars (2003-ish), I was dircted onto a toll highway as the shortest route to the Hertz Rental Return lot. About a month later, Hertz got the bill and of course, it found it’s way back to me.

Toll: $2.50
No Transponder Fee: $7.50
Hertz Service Charge: $35.00

Yeah, it really bugs me when states turn interstate highways into toll "expressways" named after some person you never heard of. Try driving I44 across Oklahoma. Missouri state line to/around Oklahoma City. Really!
