When looking to buy a Jeep, the most of the used ones I was seeing had well over 100K miles, and some nearly 200K. After reading all of the negativity I ask myself, "if Jeeps are so bad how do these have so many miles on them"? I couldn't rectify that in my mind. So, I bought a 2019 new off the lot. In the 2 years, and over 20K miles the only thing I've had done is oil changes, and the start/stop battery replaced. I think Jeep got itself into the situation years back, and can't seem to get the message across that they are doing better. Like any other manufacturer they have their problems, but I don't think there are as many as in the past. That article has SEVERAL errors and misstatements in it.
(I had a 2012, so I know)

Like any forum, the Jeep forum is the same. Very few stop by to say how reliable their "name of vehicle here" has been.
