I purchased this module from Trac Electronics in Australia for about $60 shipped. It took about two weeks to arrive. It adds one touch up and down to one window of your choosing. I have. a Supercab. On a Supercrew, you'd need three.

Here are the online install instructions, but please disregard them completely. If you are installing this on the US Ranger SCAB passenger door, at least, you can do so without taking off any of the door trim. It is smaller than the switch trim, so I imagine it would be the same on all doors if the trim in the back is the same size as the passenger front.

Step 1. Insert a pry tool under the switch from the back of the vehicle. Don't pry up! this will pop the clip off that holds the switch trim in place. Press down and use the trim tool to push the clip back. Then you can pull up on the back of the switch trim and rotate it out. (There is no clip in my picture because I broke it earlier. I had to glue it back) You can see it in a later picture.

Step 2: The kit comes with Velcro to hold the module in place. I placed one half under the armrest portion and the other on the module. Next I connected the Y harness, which can't be connected incorrectly btw.

Step 3: Fish the Y harness in and then use the velcro to attach the module under the arm rest. Once in place, you can push the rest of the harness down into the opening and connect the switch. (You can see the repaired clip in this pic.)

Step 4: Place the front of the switch trim in the opening and rotate the switch into place. The clip will hold it tightly even if you messed it up and had to repair it like I did.

Once in place, both the passenger switch and the passenger switch on the driver side will have one touch up and down that will work like you expect.

When I asked if anyone had tried this module, one member wondered if it also would have pinch protection for the window it is attached to. I tried it out and the module does not have pinch protection! It will just continue to push until it reaches the top or you stop it. I hadn't thought about pinch protection and it should be fine for my passenger window, but it could be a concern for rear windows, so I'm glad it was brought to my attention and I could test test it.

Overall, I'm pleased with this upgrade for around $60.

I did the combine windows/mirrors module, which it does not appear the sell for the US ranger any more.
That looks A LOT easier than what I went thru for the combined module.
You install it on the rear door? Doe that make all windows auto or do you need a module per door?

This is one thing that bugs me, lack of 1 touch up/down. Out of habit I used to just flick up as I pulled in my driveway. A few times I've parked with the windows down not realizing until getting out.

I have a Supercab, so I don't have any rear door switches. It's the reason why I was so interested in this option since I just needed one door. They have a three pack on their site, but it's not discounted over buying three of one.

I assume shipping would stay the same if you bought three though. The module was $40 Australian and the Shipping was $45 Australian. When I purchased $1 USD was $1.37 AUD

ahh makes sense. does it also give you one touch for the passenger side from the driver side?
And when you lock with the remote does it close the windows?

Either way sounds like the best soluion for a SCAB

It does give you one touch from the driver side as well.

Retired, work is a four letter word.
Thanks for this, I have a Screw but only need this for my front passenger side as the wife wants it. Don't need it for the back as there is very rarely anyone back there.

I put the same module in my truck Tuesday. I broke the clip the exact same way ?. Nothing a little instant epoxy couldn't fix.

I used my wife's hot glue gun. Resisted the urge to add googly eyes while I was at it.

I purchased 3 for my super crew. They did combine shipping so the total was $120.00 US. Took about 12 days to show up. I chose not to remove my door panels for the install same as OP.
One thing I did do was wrap the modules and wires in foam to help prevent rattles. Nice simple upgrade.

Would you mind explaining the process of pushing the clip in so it does not break, and what tool would be best for the job. I hate the fact that only the driver's window is one touch on a truck with a $44,000+ sticker price. I definitely would want to make this upgrade.

The module actually comes with a plastic trim tool that should work for the job. The clip on mine broke because I couldn't see how it was made. I was hoping my pics would help others avoid the same problem. The top angled part of the clip seats against the underside of the top of the armrest and padding, so the part you want to push with the trim tool is pretty far below the top of the switch.

I think that if the trim tool was inserted, so that its tip was angled down, it should be able to slip between the clip and the armrest top and push the clip open toward the switch. Even just pushed back a bit, I think it would then slide up without catching. and breaking.

One other option if that doesn't work easily might be to pop of the trim piece that runs along the face of the armrest. The piece behind it has lots of slots and holes. I think you could insert a tool through one and push the clip back to open the clip.

The clip is pretty easy repair if it does break though.

Question for those that have installed this. The drivers door has a detent in it's travel. If you push/pull the switch up to the detent you can control partial opening of the window. How do you control partial opening with a switch that doesn't have the detent?

I had a vehicle once that did not have a detent for partial opening control and it was more of a nuisance to try and jockey the switch back and forth to get it partially opened where you want it than not having the one touch at all.
