I finally got my Superlift 3.5 inch installed. CID trucks in San Marcos CA. did a fantastic job for the installation. I had a 295 70R17 and it's just perfect plenty of room for the tires and wheel combo. I can't wait to take off roading to desert and mountains of SoCal. I think can fit 34s without any rubbing at all.

Big lift, new UCAs, big fat tires, lower offset wheels - Wow - looking good without looking like a roller skate. Good job Bladimir!

To finish the mother-of-all stump removal project by our sunroom, I bit the bullet and had 1 ton of stone (called Pocono pebble) loaded on her ( actually 1,900 lbs). I used the bed extender with a tarp to hold the stone and allow for the 7 foot skid steer bucket at the masonry store. The operator was a young guy who shook his head and said he never loaded a truck like that. He said his bucket holds about a ton, and if at any point it looked like too much I should yell! She took it all, a little squat. Actually looks like a little lift in the front, or maybe even "bulldoggin'" as they say in Florida...Rode nice, only 6 miles to get home. Shoveled off, Line-X none the worse for wear.
Kudos to Pepper on her first haul, I was nervous, but my old Rangers hauled more so I figured she could handle it! I have to chuckle, my Dad always called my trucks "hangar queens" because I always kept them clean..he was in the Army Air Corps in WW2 France and England...but they all hauled more than their share of tonnage! :muscle:

Thanks, man. They had to adjust the Fox coilover 2x, to get a good level from front and rear, and Fox is not design to be adjusted when it is loaded.

Trimming trees in the fence row along the farm driveway. Hot and Humid day for this but at least it was shady all day.
My saw kept acting up. I think it was the heat and vapor lock. I did have to take the fuel filter off of the fuel pickup tube in the tank. That seemed to help. Ordered a tune up kit. Used this little saw alot over the past ten years and this is the first problem. I ain't complaining!

Driving along in Smode, I hit the thumb shift to drop a gear to get some ass swing around a corner. Ooooops Popo sitting right there, lol, so I try and shut her down mid drift. Hold down the +/- button, while pushing forward to D, no problem. Then it slips right to N, which I know I had already tested for, and wasn't able to go from D to N, without using the finger trigger.

I see the cop getting all excited when he sees me, so I pull over right beside him. Once I stop, he flashes his lights, then laughs, and tell me to roll down my window. We chat a bit, I tell him I was just playing, new truck, saw some loose sand, and well, you saw the rest. He mentions his Tacoma, and I tell him that's what I wanted but they're so good I couldn't get one for months, and I had to settle ;) . Sends me on my way, with a soft warning, lol.

So back to Smode and into manual. Try again, and the same thing happened. Hold +/- while pushing forward from S to D and it stops for a moment, then you can push right through to N.

Without holding the +/- you can push from S to D, but it locks in D and you need to push the trigger to go to N.

Near Disaster...
Drove 1 1/2 hrs to my daughter's house to deliver Cushman maple coffee table and end table, was purchased new by my mother-in-law, and is now passed on to 3rd generation's home.
2 grandsons were happy to see us, and started dribbling basketball in the driveway. An errant pass bounced off #1's hand, up in the air, and right on the passenger side of the hood. I heard the "thunk" and turned around to see it bounce right off the hood, and to #2's hands. :curse: Immediate panic set in, I didn't want to freak out in front of them, didn't see anything obvious, and indicated "no big deal", but on the inside my stomach was churning. After we left to come home, stopped for gas and coffee and I gave it a thorough inspection, and to my surprise, I could not even see where it hit on the hood. Must have been on a crease where the aluminum is stiffer? :muscle:Not sure, but very relieved, because it sounded bad at the time. I guess they are back in the will. ?

Went to a shop and bought some cheap leaf composts. Then drove with them to the woods where I modified them a bit to work as over winter anti-bunny obstacles for the black walnut "plantation".

Have to say that the dry summer has not been kind to the walnuts.

Current statistics:
- 2 lost to animals
- 4 died to dehydration
- 13 bunny shielded
- 3 non-shielded, each one having single leaf
- 3 unaccounted, cant locate so they're either dead or hiding in the bush&hay

So current first summer KIA/MIA rate is 36%, possibly 50% after the single leafs die :p

But the rear camera and tire guide lines are excellent. No issues backing up long stretch in thick hay following the drive in path.

doing similar cutting in NC. I have 4 saws, plus an electric, and think I will be getting a couple more electric and getting rid of the smaller gas saws. So much easier with the smaller saws when they are electric. I kept one poplar just for the perfect shade it provides.
