I get in the truck today and the big red 'low brake fluid' warning message pops up before I can leave the driveway. I think, well surely if there is a leak then it'll be all over the truck and garage floor!? Oh yeah, leaking like a horror show...

It's a 2020 with 2,700 miles on it so I would hope this is a warranty repair...if I can get it to the dealer. Is this a known issue or just my luck? Obviously no other issues with the truck, it hasn't even had it's first oil change.

Don’t drive it!!! Call dealer and explain, ether they will send a flatbed or your insurance will tow it over.

Pretty sure that is warranty work. Just check your paperwork for how the system was addressed after repair. Should vacuum bleed system if done properly.

Good luck and let us know how it goes

I 'm really hoping they're willing to send a flat bed. I'm not interested in driving it 17 miles on the highway hoping the brakes hold up.

Don’t you get a type of Ford-provided road-assistance program there? (like AAA)?

We have it here in Canada (and I still pay for CAA even though I don’t need it right now). Pretty sure it is for 3 years free/included.

Driving it is NOT recommended.

Call over to the dealership. Talk to sales manager. Service manger probably gone by now on East Coast.

Ask them the drill for getting this taken care of.

You have Ford roadside assistance if you bought it new. You might even have it if you didn't and it's still under warranty. Regardless don't drive it. You knowingly drive it and get in a wreck say sayonara to insurance helping.

Call Ford roadside assist (800 #) in your owners manual. They will dispatch a local wrecker service to pick up. Has to be done thru Roadside assist for Ford to pay. It won't be any problem.....

Called Ford Roadside and set up a tow to the dealer. The dealer is aware of its impending arrival and thinks this should be a warranty repair. Backing it out of the garage, it's actively loosing fluid in a steady drip that left a trail. It seems to be coming from that compression nut/fitting in the picture above.

Friend of mine had a recall for brake lines on there Edge. Dealer had to get the parts. Told them just drive it, if you have any problems pull over & call roadside assistance. That is reassuring hope you don't hit something before you get stopped. Any brake problem would make me not drive it. I have tried to stop before without brakes, ain't no fun. :headbang:

Did you try to tighten the fitting that is leaking?

Don't touch it. If it's stripped or cross threaded & you touch it Ford could deny warranty stating you did it. Just my 2 cent's.
