Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5w-40 has helped tremendously... Find it here.

I buy one of these six packs and one single. I also use an FL-400 filter.

This oil was formulated to fight this issue as well as LSPI.
Can you elaborate on how you know it helped? Did the level on your dip stick stabilize?

Amazon.com: CFM Performance 1-0103-3-WB Baffled Billet Valve Cover Breather compatible with 2015-2017 Ford Mustang EcoBoost 2.3 (Textured Black): Automotive

Releases built up crank case pressure when not under boost. Similar to engines before the advent of emissions controls and PCV valves.

Probably not needed, but I did notice on my Mazdaspeed that I noticed a lot less oil vapor build up in the IC and intake with this along with a catch can.

Plus it is nostalgic for us old-school guys.

My Mustang has a mechanical vacuum pump system. That is the bomb right there. Plus frees up HP due to reducing windage and crank case pressure.

Do these not work by releasing crankcase pressure when under boost? You mention not under boost. There is a ball valve that remains closed when not in boost to prevent a CEL and from unmetered air in the system.

I used 5/40 Castrol Euro and I find the same thing, seems to help. I also added Hot Shots friction reducer with it. I can at least control it now. Have been able to keep it to the top hole or below for 2700 miles now!!

Never looked at rising oil levels...Broke in @ 1000 changed oil , fuel > than 2% and had it tuned...Slight high fuel level on second change @2000 miles ..break in metals present..changed again at another 2000 miles ..Perfect no metal, no fuel..

Edit: I use A Crankcase breather also ...
regular Ford 5w30 ...semi synthetic ..
should not break in engine on full synthetic ...
For sure.

Was curious after the other posters comment about full synthetic being better for dilution if you were using synthetic and that corresponded to your sengine settling in.

I like the idea of that breather, will have to check into it. Thanks.

Put a sock over it to keep with a zip tie to keep it from misting..

CFM performance....
I have never had a misting issue on the Mazdaspeed, but I did buy a pre-filter that slips over the breather. I have had it for a while and can't remember where I purchased it from. I need to find it. I got one for the can on the Mustang vacuum system and it works like a charm. The CFM breather is short, so it was hard to find one that fit it though.

Under boost the valve closes.

CFM Performance valve cover breathers are the best money can buy and is the reason they have become extremely popular so quickly. They are so much more than a pretty filter on top of your valve cover and offer features that no other kits offer.
It is the only breather on the market which incorporates a check ball to keep unmetered air from coming through while the PCV system is active and the crankcase is under vacuum. In other words, this breather works just like a factory oil cap under normal driving conditions but will vent any positive crankcase pressure present under full or part throttle. It is also the only breather with an integrated baffle to help contain oil particles in the engine rather than allowing them to exit the valve cover and saturate the filter element. Filter tops are available in several popular powdercoat finishes, chrome, hydrocarbon and select OEM colors.
