Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

Probably pulled USB too soon. There is a key cycle in the middle of the install before it completes and writes the file. Some have reported reinserting the USB and having it write the file. Ford should have had the notice stick instead of disappearing after a few seconds.

Just got around to sticking the USB stick back in today and sure enough it wrote the file and I could report it up to Ford. Thanks for the help!

Got mine updated this weekend! Took about 30 minutes of running, but...THE CLIMATE PANEL IS BACK! Also got the install log and was able to upload it back to the Ford site with no issues! This took way to long to get the official fix, but glad it is done now! Didn't bother me in the summer not having it, but now that winter is here, I was finding a need for it!

Like the instructions say, format the USB drive as EXFAT.....

I updated from v3.4.20136 to 282...

I got my climate back which is nice...still no heated seat icons though.

Are there still issues here with the latest version? They fixed the climate controls issue, but now the heated seat icons are missing??? Is this a known issue they are going to address???

My XLT did not have the seat icons originally. I had to add them with Forscan. They have stayed through all the updates. If you didn't have them they probably won't appear just because you updated SYNC.

I still have v3.3 build 19052 which was the version installed when I purchased my 2019 XLT 4x4 Supercab (equip group 302A) and no Navigation. I currently have climate controls and heated seat icons on the sync display. I’ve been waiting for these software update kinks to get ironed out. I thought maybe they had fixed everything, but was concerned if there is now another issue with missing heated seat icons.

I still have v3.3 build 19052 which was the version installed when I purchased my 2019 XLT 4x4 Supercab (equip group 302A) and no Navigation. I currently have climate controls and heated seat icons on the sync display. I’ve been waiting for these software update kinks to get ironed out. Last update kept all my current asbuilt settings, splash screen, theme, climate screen and heated seat buttons. You should be OK.

Just be sure the SyncMyRide folder on the USB has all six files.

You are correct. Did not update over WIFI.

Nope, just a straight upgrade via USB thumb drive.

No heated seats icon on mine after the upgrade, but the icon wasn't there before, either.
