How do you reach all of the outside of your windshield to dry it?

Sort of a stupid question.

I have a wash mop with a long handle to help me wash the outside of the windshield. But when it comes to drying the windshield, I have a tough time drying it.

I have a gravel driveway and do not trust a stool/ladder next to my truck to help reach the middle of the windshield.

Right now I take a long towel, throw it and drag it across the windshield, but it does not do a perfect job.

Any tips?

Thanks

You're lucky, I'm only 5'7" and I have to lug a 4' ladder around the truck like 6 times! For washing the roof, middle of the hood and the windshield. This is both for washing and then drying and even more if I'm going to speed detail it. No wonder I need a nap when I'm done. ?

At least you can walk into a store and find clothes and shoes that fit. 38"waist x 36" inseam pants and size 14 extra wide shoes rarely exist in most stores....and those "big and tall" stores are for folks that are big AND tall, not "thin" and tall. And I won't even get into the number of times I've whacked my head on low hanging objects....damn near knocked myself out a couple of times  Being tall has it's advantages, but it has more than it's share of drawbacks too :)

I am likely 5’6” now. Reaching is not an option.

I will get a long handled squeegee.

When I'm at home, I use a sponge/squeegee (gas pump style)...spraying and wiping seem to always leave streaks no matter what formula I use...

Thanks!

Just for a split second I thought you were going to say you were 6’ 10” and could reach it! ?

On a side note in 2009, we looked in Green Valley to buy a winter home. Beautiful area. In the end we bought one in Queen Creek, which we sold in 2015. (Missed the Grandkids too much)
