Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

LST_ERR05? If so, check that you have all the files in the right folder.

I fixed the wordings on the downfolder (downloaded items from Ford) as it stated SyncMyRide/xxx on my Mac OS and removed the wording "SyncMyRide/" and created a new folder called SyncMyRide and put five Tar.gz items in that new folder on the USB stick. Now this USB stick shows three items: autoinstall.lst; DONTINDX.MSA and my new "folder". I put it in my truck and it works like charm. Now it is fully 3.4. I will wait tomorrow to update the map from 118 to 119.

I could not wait until tomorrow to update the map usb (119) so I went ahead and install it and drive for an hour. I expected it to be done in 60 minutes. It is still running. Nuts!! I installed it at 8:03 pm EST and it is now 9:55 pm. Two hours. Something wrong with it? I hate to stop and starting all over again tomorrow. I will give my truck 10 more minutes

Ive heard from 40ish minutes to nigh 2 hours. It seems to depend highly on the quality of the drive. Best I’ve seen with one of my better drives was about 50-55 range.

Climate disappeared on mine but oddly after changing splash screen it Bronco or Explorer it back. I changed the 3 options mentioned prior did nothing but the splash screen did it.

Did you get continuous restarts during the process?

I don't know. I did it with the truck running in the driveway and just checked it every so often.

Two days ago I downloaded the update program from the Ford site on a thumb drive and did the install with the truck running in driveway. I checked on it several times as it was installing, after about 45 min it showed complete, I shut it down for a bit then cranked up and it has been working fine. The screen is different, it seems less colorful but all functions seem to be working well.
It is done, to be honest I don't see any advantage over the prior edition, maybe after some use it will become apparent.
Most of my driving is local so seldom use the Nav screen, but it is working, same for climate , and the other functions.
I haven't tried the voice commands but will try that soon.

Later this weekend or early next week. I thought they were going to push some fixes this weekend, at least for MY20 updates missing the voice pack, so that might be why it's down at the moment. Do you have Nav or Non-Nav?

I have Nav. Isn't navigation part of the 501A package?
