I can't stand anything on the paint. Don't mind stickers on the glass when they can be easily scraped off, but anything on the paint that doesn't add value to the looks is a no-go for me.

I think I used 18 gauge wire to extend them. I remember it was four wires and now I can move it all around the front if needed.

I put everything I do to my truck in the service history part of the ford pass app. Using that for my records and to help me remember when I did what. After the last couple issues I had from the dealer I am not going back to them unless I absolutely have to.

I did something like this one day. I parked with multiple open spots on each side of me, and when someone pulled in right next to me I moved further down as soon as they stopped.

I thought it was just me attracting people to park next to me like that. I almost always park way out away from everyone and when I come out 99% of the time someone is parked next to me with plenty of other open spaces around. This would even happen when I had my Altima.

Out of curiosity, was the valve above skid plates or just hanging in the open? I just put one on my truck since I am going to be doing the oil changes from here out, and am keeping a close eye on it, but if it's protected with a skid plate are there still chances of it accidentally getting...

Mine popped off fairly easily using a trim tool. I put a piece of cardboard under the tool to keep from possible scratching the paint.

I ordered this same winch mount, but decided to go with the hidden one instead. But that looks really good.
