Do you have Forscan and an adapter. I can be on a call with you if you need assistance. Forscan is very straight forward. As mentioned just make sure to backup you configs prior.
I just fixed my sons with JB Weld. pop the cover and you will likely see a small pin with a tiny piece of plastic on it. that is what holds the strap. It is way to weak of a plastic piece and if tugged on will break. JB Weld will repair and make it stronger than the original.
Had mine replaced, bug job. Remove roof liners to replace the rails. Check yours!

Only once but I have had a grind witching to snow. I assume most dont use this mode but I am in Canada so I use it a lot. sounded just like my F150 IWE fail sound.
I have the NAV file for my F150 the file names for my ranger and f150 are the same and the file says for nav and non NAV does not mention model So one can assume the F150 Nav file and the Ranger Nav file are the same as I have used them on both in the past. If you PM me your email I will share...

Did you back up before you made the TM change and after. If you restore to before it should overwrite the pcm back you your default and then make the TM change
