It's a crazy and sad world right now, but times will get better. Keep your spirits high and God bless! My guess is it will get worse. When the animals can't find food they will start stealing it whether it be from others homes or right out of their hands while in the parking lots.
I don't think I've mentioned this before but my girlfriend still lives there. We've been doing the long distance thing for a long time but mostly because she was caring for her sick mom. When she passed she was getting ready to move but her daughter was having trouble finding a good steady job so she was now helping her out. Fast forward daughter now has a good job (hopeful still) and this shit happens! So needless to say I've been sick to my stomach and I've already told her if things get worse there I'm driving out there and picking her up. Hopefully I'm over-reacting as she's not in a terrible neighborhood but it's still Chicago non the less.![]()

It's great to see people so helpful to, & supportive of, each other. Even if all we can do at times is to offer someone a smile or good hearted laugh. I know I get quite a kick reading some of (a lot of) these posts on this forum. I love all the various personalities. I work in a hospital and I realize how important it is to show love, compassion, & a sense of humor (even though we don't always feel like it!). Take care of yourselves!!!!
