Anybody here miss their F-150?

I don't miss mine, l don't tow anything and don't need a big truck for hauling. I have more room in my garage and easier to get around and park.

I still own my '08 F150 Foose Edition Screw but the Ranger is my daily driver now. From the outside, the Ranger doesn't look that much smaller but there is more usable space in the backseat and the extra 6" depth of bed on the F150 is more noticeable than I expected.

I had 2014 Platinum and while I miss the cooled seats and power running boards, it was just too big.

Over the years, I've owned the following F-150's:

• 2000 F-150 XL 4X4
• 2001 F-150 XLT
• 2003 F-150 XL
• 2011 F-150 XLT
• 2017 F-150 XLT

I only truly miss one of them...you can probably guess why...

...that baby was my never ending project. It took me forever to find a single-cab flareside sport model with the 4.6 V8 and a manual transmission. But I did...and I still sold the damn thing a few years later to buy a Mustang.

But more seriously, the only reason I kind of miss my 2017 F-150 from time to time is because of that massive backseat. But I don't really need it very often so I'm much happier with my more practical-sized Ranger.

2017 F-150 XLT Sport. Only 260 miles on my Ranger 2019 Lariot, miss the back seat space for storage and the v6 ecoboost. I don't really move much stuff though (the reason I "right-sized) I don't call it down-sizing anymore as the overall feel and driveabliltiy feels much better in my Ranger. I can offset the engine too by using sport mode if I need a boost.

I agree "right-sizing" is the correct term. My last truck was a 2011 F250 Super Duty. I just didn't need that big truck any more. (No more horses. Yes the four legged hay burner kind)
My 2001 F150 was before that and it was a good truck. Not all that much different than the Ranger in capability, but today's tech and safety is so far advanced.

Paid 38 for my lariat with all the packages. If I needed to sell it I think I’d get 35 with all the add ons. Think this truck lasts for me. With all the new electric cars it’s seems the price of gasoline. Should stabilize around this 2/3$ range for years to come. Excited to own this truck for the long run.

I was originally looking at the F150 and then I drove it. Its a great truck but it was so big. I joked with my 10 year old (who still wishes I bought the truck) that you could play football in that back seat. I will also agree that the front seat where recliners.

i traded in a 2017 supercab stx 5.0 for my '19 supercrew xlt ranger. I miss only having a flat floor in the back of the f150 that gave a little more room for hauling stuff around inside the cab, and the width of that cab that allowed me to carry around my bicycle inside the truck without a bike rack. Otherwise, at 62 years of age, this Ranger is my favorite vehicle I've owned...and I've owned a bunch of them

Nope! Not me, ive been driving mid sized trucks for a long time. Had a 17 super duty lifted on 35s, it was awesome when towing and soo good on gas but I could not park anywhere around town. The last straw for me was my wife when she kept complaining that she couldnt get inside. Switched to a 17 f150 CCLB but it turned out to be a lemon so I returned it. It was just like the f250 but tows way less and worse mileage. If I had a dream truck it would be a 19/20 ranger fx4 crew cab long bed with the raptor fenders, 6.7 powerstroke mated to a 10 spd on 33s. I'd be all over that.

I had a 2002, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015 and I dont miss much.
The one thing the big F150 gave me was dominance on the road.
A little bit of tailgating and the slow assclown in front of you got out of the way.

I drive speed limit and I move for nobody! Only because I cant move any farther to the right.
