I did look at this. It wouldn't apply for where I need to cut and extend. I'm just waiting till leave before I can cut into it.

It took me all of 10 minutes to talk myself into it. As far as the cobra, it originally came with the scj “drag pack”. All that is gone now and some freak stuff replaced it. That project won’t be done for quite some time.

Here is where the cut will happen. Well not really a cut more like a weld grind. I’ll grind out the old bead and pull the frame apart. It actually slides in a few inches.

Thought I’d start a build thread, I’m really excited about doing a long bed conversion. Maybe the first stateside CCLB I am aware of. Here she is at pick up. Drove 12 hours to get it.

If I'm not mistaken you have about 45,000 rewards points. You can use those to purchase a few small items. I think it equals out to be 210 bucks. You will have to go through your ford dealer services though. They can ring you up through the service counter and then pick up through the parts...

Ive seen some pretty wonky fitment before but this has excellent fitment. Did you fit this yourself or have a body shop do it?
