What kind of animal is the fence and "doggy" door for?

Any dog or cat I know would hop right over that fence.

Do you have pet cayman? Tortoise like Phil?

Cute, but not a Dodge and hardly a working truck.
Fiat Dodge Ram Truck? Has dodge on it. And tha famous ram horns. Ram tough. I have seen them in the wild too! They make a santa cruz loom like a full size truck and make the ridgeline look like a crew cab f250 with a long bed. I have seen mitsubishi and chevy with so.e kind of tiny little truck too. All in the wild!

I've got a 2010 B2300, which I love, but is getting long in the tooth. I'd like to buy a new Ranger, but for me, it's just too tall.

I don't think a person should have to CLIMB into a "small" truck, but at 5'10", that's exactly what I have to do. The one at the dealer didn't have running boards and I almost ripped the steering wheel off getting in. (I'm not sure that would covered under warrantee.) And my wife, somewhat "altitudinally challenged", couldn't get in the passenger side at all. We found another with running boards and even with those, she couldn't get in. I could, but it was still work, and I'm too old to do aerobics just to get into my vehicle.

More important than my wife not being able to get in (which some days might seem like a blessing), the sides of the box are just too high. There's no way I can PUT something in the box from the side. I can TOSS something in and hope, but that's it.

I really don't know what Ford was thinking! The whole world told them it wanted a modern Ranger. What they delivered was a modern, BIGGER F100!

I guess I better be nice to the Mazda!
How about the Maverick?

May be true but in comparison to this shit box ford has now, it’s probably a wash.

I've never once heard a person defend the good name of the Mavericks.

Seriously, those things were piles of shit.

It is aggravating that all of these car people now want trucks. And then they want trucks to be like cars.
I've never "wanted" a car, especially one that "looks" like a truck, like a damn El Camino or Ranchero or a Brat or any other platform like that. That's one reason I didn't like the Maverick, Ridgeline or Sante Cruz, they're all unibody and front wheel drive, like most cars. I did lower my truck, but it still has a bed and is RWD :)

For many decades , light trucks were built to do light hauling, towing and errands.
It was only when the pacific rim companies started marketing them as Off-road toys for metrosexuals that they became what they are today, with buyers wanting their trucks to be like "cars" (like a CJ) which belongs on a trailer behind a truck. :giggle:
That's a bit harsh, but was only meant to be a counterpoint.;)

Chihuahua mixes? They can usually jump pretty well.

They must be pretty well trained!
