Since you have a 2020, I wonder if you need to upgrade to the latest version of FORScan? The log above says 2.3.28 is available. I'd try that first.

Yeah thanks. That’s what I had and downgraded to last two versions. So no change in .26-28. Emailed them with the log file.Since you have a 2020, I wonder if you need to upgrade to the latest version of FORScan? The log above says 2.3.28 is available. I'd try that first.
Hmm, yeah I don’t know about update. I installed on 2/4. I can confirm by gps that my speed is dead on with 31.5 in tires.Interesting. On The speedo calibration thread they said the mm change doesn’t work? Was there a new update?
I don''t have that display on my 2019 Lariat.Both those things are default on the US Lariat version. I don't know how many international owners are on here, or if there is a way to reverse engineer what options already exist for certain markets.
Updated to the latest release .29 and still no go. Sent them a debug and they responded that they hope to add the 2020 (I understand that some 2020 owners are able to connect) soon and will send me a test build when they get to it.Yeah thanks. I also found this spreadsheet that does the conversion for you:I found a Forscan setting for 2011-2020 Explorers that *seems* to work for setting a specific timeout for the power points on the dash.
BCM-726-39-01
1194 XXXX XXXX= 1 Hour, 15 minutes (Default)
0001 XXXX XXXX = 1 Second
5460 XXXX XXXX = 6 hours
A8C0 XXXX XXXX = 12 Hours
FD20 XXXX XXXX = 18 Hours
FFFF XXXX XXXX - 18 Hours, 12 minutes, 15 seconds (Max)
What I discovered was that the first four numbers is the Hexadecimal setting for the time in seconds. If you enter each value in to a Hex to Decimal calculator (https://www.binaryhexconverter.com/hex-to-decimal-converter) you get the timeout in terms of seconds:
"1194" = 4500 seconds = 1 Hour, 15 minutes
"0001" = 1 second = 1 Second
"5460" = 21600 seconds = 6 Hours
"A8C0" = 43200 seconds = 12 Hours
"FD20" = 64800 seconds = 18 Hours
"FFFF" = 65535 seconds = 18 Hours, 12 minutes, 15 seconds
So, I used the Decimal to Hex converter and put in 60 seconds and got 3C. With that, I padded with zeros to get "003C" and plugged it in. Lo and behold - it worked!
My goal was to have the power point run for a minute or two before my dash cam shut off and kicked in to parking mode. I was getting a bunch of false positives from getting out of my truck and hopefully it will help alleviate that.
Before adding it to the first post, I'd like to make sure that it works for others. Has anyone else had success with this?
PS - I also found this at the Explorers site:
BCM-726-39-01
XXXX X*XX XXXX = 0 - Always On, 1 - Timeout enabled
I didn't try this one, but I know there were a few of you out there that wanted the outlet to always stay on. This might do the trick for you.
That is odd that the 2020 is different enough to require a new build. At least they are working on it.Updated to the latest release .29 and still no go. Sent them a debug and they responded that they hope to add the 2020 (I understand that some 2020 owners are able to connect) soon and will send me a test build when they get to it.
Doesn't manually turning off the dome light do this already?When you open the door the dome lights and stuff stays off instead of lighting up like the surface of the sun.
I'm telling ya.... the little guy that controls the light in the refrigerator snuck out and is screwing with people...Doesn't manually turning off the dome light do this already?

Looking for F-150 FORScan mods will most likely get you more detailed info. The first post in this thread is a wiki post so anyone can update it with new info.Hey everyone...just jumping to Forscan and read through the 8 pages...very commendable group effort to get the master list together, however, this is all very confusing to anyone just beginning to explore Forscan.
Very few of the modes have descriptors as to what they are/do...is it possible to add to the list?
For instance, what is intelligent 4x4? What is rear turn hyper blink? What is specified tire pressure? Etc, etc, etc...
Also (maybe I missed it) has anyone found a way to add auto mirror adjust during reverse? I remember this very useful feature in other older vehicles where when shifted in reverse, the mirrors would aim down and in to see your rear tires.
Thanks again!
