Yes, I currently own a 2011 XL 2.3L manual Scab Ranger. Very basic, but super reliable. Not very capable though. 2 wheel drive. I am hoping to purchase a 6G Ranger FX4. I just hope the PHEV comes in the Scab version. Its too bad they don't offer the Tremor in the Scab. I would modify it for Overlanding.

Absolutely, as long as they don't make th 6G look like the Maverick or the F150. Then I'll keep my 2019 for a long while. This last week I had two people stop me and ask about it. One even took a picture.

New owner here with 2019 highly optioned XLT 4x4 Crew cab Sport. Excited about my turbo truck. Really stepped outside my comfort zone coming from my tried and true full size Chevy Avalanche of nearly 15 years of pure bliss reliability. Taking a leap of faith with the EcoBoost that has been in the Mustang since 2015 that this little gem will work out for me for the next 15 years, hopefully. How I got excited about the Eco is test driving a new mustang.
I test drove all the midsized pu's (Ridegeline, Frontier, Taco, Colorado) and only came away with a smile from the ZIPPY go fast ford! It has all and I mean all one could ask for safety features and love those push button electric folding mirrors! Only wish for Leather seats but was not going to pay up another $4K for them with the Lariat package when I had all those features already + less the FX4 package which I don't care about.

Those owners now. - Would you buy again given the chance to unring the bell?
Yes. I have a Supercab STX 4x4 in Cactus Grey. Previously drove (and still do) a Mazda B-Series truck. I've never owned a new truck before and this feels like another league in terms of tech, look, performance. and comfort. Can't believe how fast it is in S mode though I do miss the manual gears a bit. Love the color and can't stop staring at it. Granted I'm only 2k miles in so early days. Added Weathertech mats in the front, the Mountains grille, ignition ring and panel organizer thing. Still need a tonneau, bed liner, the missing bed hooks, new wheels and tires and maybe a level, but I've run out of money for the time being so that'll have to wait. The Sync is dodgy. But apart from that I hope it continues to work as immaculately as it does currently.

Absolutely!! 26K and very happy. Only regret is I got black. Love it, hate it. Wouldn't do black again.

Sorry to disappoint...

I would sell my Ranger if the Bronco actually came out looking like this...

Instead of some missing chromosome offspring that they released.

I would absolutely buy my Ranger again. I owned a 2005 Taco and it was a fantastic truck, but the mission changed (life’s constant changes) and I traded it in towards a Benz SUV that I kept for over 12 years. Fast forward to Fall of 2000 and I’m needing a capable, reasonably-sized truck once again. I researched endlessly online. Test drove everything; some more than once. The current generation Taco’s were polished, but cramped inside with a complete failure of an engine/drivetrain design. The GMC Canyon had the best highway ride and available 6ft bed, but seemed dated, had zero modern safety features and was shockingly expensive. I never considered the Colorado because I’m not into black leather as the only option in higher trims. The Ridgeline wasn’t a serious contender because I wanted an actual truck. As for the Frontier, well, let’s just say I wanted a truck designed in this century. I had a 3rd party negotiate the deal, including my trade (smartest auto buying decision of my life right there - I saved so much, got all the hidden incentives including dealer-installed options and maxed my tired old trade-in). I think I ended up paying 2k under X Plan’s prices.

Back in late 2020, Rangers were pretty rare, especially Lariat FX4’s with stone leather, black package, towing and in Lightning Blue. I drove to south of Orlando from the northern Atlanta area and spent 24 minutes at the dealership (negotiator, remember?).

Me and my lady and dog took a 7,000 mile road trip out west back in April and had zero problems. So many people wanted to talk about the Ranger. At least a dozen at every stop. Folks in Moab were really interested, more so after they witnessed me take this stock creature through areas that only Jeeps and OHV’s roam. ”Hey, how do you like your Ranger?” echoed in the canyons daily. Etc, etc, etc…

In short, yeah, I’d buy this truck again, even at MSRP.
