Assume you're retiring? I retired in 22, still work some part time for the company I retired from but unless they want to pay airfare it looks like Im done with that too. Wife just retired, why the move, cheaper country to live in than Cali. Looking forward to it too
See, thats what I mean, I hear back and forth but cannot seem to find anything concrete. Guess just not looking in the right places! Glad to hear the 2.3 finally got it.
Been here nearly 70 years, there are things I will miss, people are NOT one of them, well at least certain people. I think once this coast to coast move is done and I'm settled Im inclined to agree with you, thanks for the vote of confidence.
Agree, don't think anywhere is normal anymore, we will have family and friends there, I've been retired and my wife is now retired, better environment for us older farts. Msfitoy did ask where in NC I was going.
LOL, know that one..Been well, following your posts and others since I joined in 2019. Wife and I are moving, finally pulled the plug and leaving California for North Carolina, a bit sad too, born and raised in SoCal, State is circling the drain and its time for greener pastures, literally.
Thats what Ive been hearing, odd too since the 2.7 which has dual injection is basically the same motor as the 3.0! Only difference as far as I know is either bore or stroke...based off what I have heard..
Congrats on the new purchase and on a Tremor to boot, very sweet indeed, 2.7? On your drive home be sure to regulate RPM's to aid in breaking in rings, unless Ford has changed break in protocol. I haven't been on the forum in a while, what happened with the accident? Where you hurt? Newer, post...
Congrats on the new ride, Raptor, very nice. 3.0 or 2.7? If the 3.0 does it have dual injection? I know the 2.7 does, not sure on 3.0, Ive heard a bit of back and forth on this. I plan on changing my 19 Ranger for an XLT with the 2.7 after Wife and I move...
I have a harsh, with sometimes acting if in neutral, its not its just won't go into 2nd when cold. Once it warms up all is good! 82k miles. I also have ESP till next September 2026. Problem for me is if you take it in and it doesn't do it for the dealer then it's a 240 dollar diagnostic charge...
Agree, should always use "Parking Brake", this takes or helps to take vehicle weight off of the parking pawl if you do it correctly. Glad to see that you do, I see so many that don't. It use to be called "Emergency Brake" and I think some have that carry over from older days.
