would you mind letting me know what a good 3-D printer costs? Which one do you have and have you built anything to see that it looks great as far as how it goes with the plastic trim?

I’m trying to avoid mounting the tuner on the a pillar. I would debate some sort of set up in the middle of the dash, but I have the auxiliary switches and use them.

Hell, if I were able to create the item, as it will go in place of a piece on the truck, can I pay you to 3-D print it?

But then again, there’s been a lot of things between my house and vehicles that really tell me a 3-D printer would be heavily used in my case.

I have an Ender 3 V3 KE at home and a Elegoo Centauri Carbon on the way. Both are excellent machines and $300 or less.

if that gets the job done, I’m definitely a fan of that price point! That’s something that could be purchased quite quickly!

I suppose I should look it up but I’m guessing it prints ABS plastic among other materials… Is that accurate?

I’ll look it up as well! Having that ability to make custom pieces would be unreal!

I have an Ender 3 V3 KE at home and a Elegoo Centauri Carbon on the way. Both are excellent machines and $300 or less.

I have an old, started life as an Ender 3 Pro, but only the frame, stepper motors and hot bed are stock at this point.

If looking at a single filament option, I would start with the S1 Pro today, it has the Sprite Extruder Pro head out of the box, so high temps work. Would set get hardened tips so I can do Nylon CF. I would use it stock only for a while and if I found too many features from the updated SKR/Rpi setup on my old 3 Pro I run now missing I would looking into options to get a similar controller and/or firmware updates and RPi 4 for the S1 Pro. The Textured sheets are just interesting for some things that I've printed where you can see it, but not at all a requirement.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get in contact with him. However, I still really wanted a version of his design so l reverse engineered my own version of his original design and it fit great!
I have three extras that l'd be willing to sell for $30 each (plus shipping) if anyone is interested.

I Have one from DirkM from when he was making them, my problem now is that my new phones have all been bigger and unfortunately don't work well with the smaller wireless charger. I reached out to him but never heard anything back so I am trying to see what my options are these days
