That's a set of flares and a tailgate spoiler.
A widebody kit would be something like the APG setup. Full fenders and bedsides.

Seems to me that ricers have grown out of their moms' Civics and now want to build "overlanders" instead of race cars.

i had a friend bought a Ferrari kit for a fiero, what a pos..car & kit. the panels were as rigid as a wet noodle..it was early 90's well before 3m tape. i cant recall if it was rivets or epoxy. all i remember was how he tried to rope me into helping with this mess with beer & pizza. i stopped by for 20min shook my head and left..
