Never owned a true sports car. Closest I've had are econo-boxes with manual transmissions.

Mainly because I cant afford the one I want; Nissan GTR.

I always wanted a Dodge Challenger since the current generation, but pretty much that car, cameros, and mustangs have been ruined for me because of my line of work. A lot of of the dregs of society own those and I don't want to be associated with that crap.

I feel the same way, get it out of the garage and get some of the smoke off of those tires, my 65 was a daily driver until the left knee blew up, put over 10k miles on it before that.

Now sadly, it sits a lot, the knee is getting better so I'm back in it more, the Ranger didn't help, because I can go romp on it and get my hot rod driving fix, or I can get my fix just parking the mustang in the garage.

Not so much abandoned. The current ride will tow my next race car around. I took the mods too far on my last daily driven sports car and made it a nightmare to deal with every day. Luckily I got some of my investment back bringing it back to stock and selling the parts before I traded it.

Doc, this is the wife's. She said she will probebly be the only 85 year old woman driving a Mustang GT around town. Yeah, she loves it that much.

Traded my Jag 400S for the Ranger -needed the extra seating. I do miss the over-run in 4th gear - it was demonic. But I have to admit the Ranger will be in the stable for a while. I may not see my Bronco until 2024 at this rate. :D

Yes I miss the old speed3 all the time, but I can't pull a boat or camper with it so I had to make a change.

2015 Audi S3 is my current daily driver, and it's getting traded in when my delivery date rolls around later this year. Am I going to miss it? Yes..... But given the circumstances I am facing, and things I want to do in the future, the ranger makes much more practical sense.

All things considered, it was a fantastic car. Great to drive, excellent power. But OMG, the carbon buildup, the rear differential hydraulics failing, the hvac electrical..... Not fun

Now if I want to go fast and have some serious fun, I have this!

For my CO people, rode Coal Creek, Boulder, Rist, and Poudre Canyons yesterday and it ran like a top while making all the right 3 cylinder noises. And now if I have to trailer it/haul it, I CAN!
