A 2004 Cadillac CTS-V (# 25 in the registry, 2nd delivered in CA.) with a tricked-out Ground Control suspension. It was 16 y.o. We had fun together. All good things... Ciao bella!
I had a Sonic Blue 04 Lightning, but it wasn’t practical with a family, but it was fun while it lasted…traded for an 05 Titan which I really didn’t like, but it could seat 4…
My wife (ex) and I had a 2011 Charger Mopar Edition #1257—that thing was a BLAST to drive….she kept it and still has it today.
I’m currently shopping for an 03 or 04 Sonic Blue Lightning. Plans are to swap the stock motor for a built one that can handle a Kenne Bell S/C and have it custom tuned. The stock Lightning’s lower end aren’t made for much more than how it comes from the factory. Street/strip is the goal. Just have to find one that’s not modded out…
This was my pride and joy. A guy flew from New Zealand to the US and bought it. So it is cruising down under now. The picture with the Mustang plane was from a show called Props and Ponies in Washington. This was the cover of the 2011 Mustang Calendar, one of many anyways.
I gave mine up for sure. But that's because I couldn't get up my driveway of my new house without scraping the front end. Sucks in a way, I loved that car, wasn't very practical. Don't have a picture of the driveway, but you can see how far down are my neighbors. The Tremor never scrapes.
This will likely be going by the wayside once the Truck is delivered. Finally got my 92 Integra reliable enough to be my dedicated track car so I'll need a tow vehicle (again). 3 or 4 seconds faster than the CTR on a 2.3mile track.
No pictures now but a 72 240Z for a 64 ford short bed. Then a 87 Camaro with T Tops for a Toyota Tacoma. Then a 2013 Ford Fusion for a 2020 Ford Ranger. I still have my 2007 Yamaha FZ6 that I ride anytime it's not raining. This is a great thread. Lot's of sweet mustangs and other killer cars.
A sporty car. Traded my 2013 Focus ST 3 with a Ford Racing tune, for the Ranger. Sweet deal for me. 8 year old car with only 28k on the clock. Got $20k in trade towards the Ranger.
Top speed down the front straight 126 MPH, not bad for a 2.0 4-banger. The turn 2 (top picture) at Fontana is a real gut check at 115 MPH, all you see is the spin out skid marks heading for the concrete wall.
