I sold the Mach and my 98 Ranger 4x4 to buy the new Ranger. Still have the old school '66. I love my truck but doubt I could ever give up having a car that will scream into a corner, power out of it and snap the back end into place when you bang out a nice upshift. It's really apples and oranges I guess. Two different worlds behind the wheel.

Must be nice to have money where you can order a vehicle then simply forget about it...
Least he had the foresight to run it once in a while to circulate fluids..

Hate when people buy vehicles just to let them sit...
I don't personally understand why one would buy a vehicle and then never drive it.

It's been said that this is like dating a supermodel and never having sex with her so she'd be nicer for the next guy ?

Very rarely is a vehicle an appreciating asset (of course the last couple of years changed that paradigm as my 2.5 year old Ranger is still worth more than I paid for it ?) and unfortunately the Hemi Charger is a better car than the Marauder and is everywhere + cheap.

No matter how much you love it a car will never love you back, though as I've mentioned before my Rx7 seemed to actively hate me and revel in doing weird things at inopportune moments.

Man I love that gen of Mach 1, though the 4.6 DOHC is so smooth that the "Shaker" hood didn't shake much :sunglasses:

My 2005 gto has been parked for a few years and I barely drive it.. Not because of the ranger though. Just lost interest since I stopped daily driving it. Been thinking about selling it here lately.
I miss my '05. I had the full Pedders track suspension, including every single bushing, a roll cage, built motor, long tubes, etc.

The narrow body was it's only downfall, bigger tires weren't easy to fit.

I had a nice sports car when I first got married! Ah life was bliss with road trips and exit ramps at 80 mph. Then the first kid came along. That’s when I got informed that this really isn’t a very good family car. No matter how much pleaded she won out. (don’t they always ?) That was the end of my fun car days. Am I a better man for it? Hell NO!

It's been a while since I've driven her since having trouble with NC's testing...nothing's wrong with my MINI but the emission test won't complete for some reason...she's in hibernation for now...my Ranger didn't replace my sports car...it's just a mellower way to travel for me now...

I traded my 2011 Cadillac CTS-V on my Ranger and don’t regret it for a second

I had a 2009 335i that was a rocket. Loved that car before getting totaled In 2016. Missed it enough that I recently picked up a 330i. It’s not the rocket the 335i was, but its still fast and fun to drive and gets 40mpg on the highway. I drive the car to work and the Ranger on the weekends, so it’s a good change up.

Fun car stays and gets driven on nice days. Ranger is just a commuter, haul and tow pig.
