I love those big puppies but I wouldn't want one in my Ranger.I have an english/bull mastiff mix. Coming in close to 200lbs. We need a hose to clean up his slobber. Its pretty epic. On par with your boxer. lol
We have to be careful when we are going to dinner or leaving for work... If he gets near you he will get slobber on your pants/dress or whatever...
When that happens we call it a Lewinski....
Great looking pup. Mine's the same. If he sees me walk toward the garage he thinks it's time to go for a ride to the park.Only 2 things are more exciting than saying food. Its walk or go for a ride.

Mine just likes to drive around. No care on the destination. 12 hour road trip once, took 8 hours to get bored and fall asleep.Great looking pup. Mine's the same. If he sees me walk toward the garage he thinks it's time to go for a ride to the park.
Hermes has gone on 3 round trips from Mission, TX to Daytona, FL (2800 mi. ea.). Every time we stop for gas or at a rest stop, somebody calls him "Frank" from MIB.Mine just likes to drive around. No care on the destination. 12 hour road trip once, took 8 hours to get bored and fall asleep.
My Pug does that so he can lick the inside of my ear while I'm driving.I had to put a fence up to keep Jack from jumping into the front seat. Now he rests his head on my shoulder.

Ya mean like this?Does anybody have an idea for something in the back seat? I am looking to make it level and give Maeven a few inches of lift so she can look out the windows easier. She's quite small. Something like a large foam wedge. I just can't find anything on the interwebs. Might have to make something.
yes!Ya mean like this?

Wait, mine is a super crew cab, so would need to be deeper front to back.yes!
Good point and probably some support as well.Wait, mine is a super crew cab, so would need to be deeper front to back.
Last visit to the vet Maeven weighed in at 11lbs. The cushion would probably outweigh her.Good point and probably some support as well.
There's better ways to go, with your fabrication skills, I'd probably weld an aluminum frame that could be removed and use a thinner foam on it.
Lord knows that 14 pound Kota doesn't need 6 inches of foam. This density would work well at 2 inches thick and be easier to pull in and out.
I'm anxious to see your solution, if you tackle this - we originaly did it because Cheech had torn CCLs in his rear legs.
Old Kota, even at 9 years, old hops around like a kangaroo and doesn't really need anything back there.
But ... some of might be inclined to go overboard for our dear little 4-legged companions! =)
