I showed my wife a Jeep the other day with bronze wheels and she agrees that my Ranger would look nice with that color (almost and okay to buy?). So, I am looking at these: AR201 - American Racing

The size I am looking at is 18x9" with a 35mm offset. I will be using 265/65/18 Toyo AT IIIs (on the truck now with the stock black package wheels).

What do you guys think?

I just mounted a set of these exact wheels along with BFG KO2s in 285/65/18. My Ranger is blue, and the dark bronze wheel color looks great! (American’s photo is deceiving, the bronze color is much darker in person) I’ll get some photos up in a day or two…

I would love to see those.

If that is with a 285, then my 265/65/18 tires should be fine. How is the overall clearance with those 285s?
I’m on a 3” lift in front, 1” rear. They clear ok. Your 265s should be a perfect fit. I bought the wheels from PerformancePlusTire.com. They had a good price and they were in stock.

Kind of reviving a dead thread here, but here goes. I've got a 2020 fx4 lariat with stock suspension. I'm looking at getting a 265/70/17 tire and pairing it with a 20mm offset black rhino rim. Will this run on the crash bars at all w/stock suspension.

Thanks for any and all help

Installed my new tires and wheels today! KMC 17 x 8, 20mm offset and 5 Falken WildPeak P285 70 17 tires.

The 2nd to last Pic at the shop is the stance with the oem tires and wheels.

I still need to do some detailing but I managed a wash and meguiars tire shine foam.

I still have 2 3/4 inch clearance for the garage so I will install the last 1 inch spacer in the front next week and adjust the speedometer.

Boy, that’s a tough call without at least a 2” front level. You might be fine but many folks who went up to that size were on stock wheels and had levelling shocks or a level kit. It’s the offset of the aftermarket rims that raises questions for me. Worst case scenario, you need to lift the front end with coil overs or a kit. Shop charges on either are about $500, plus the parts.

I hope it works for you because it will look great and hopefully, someone on here has done this exact setup and has the answer.

I would hit Discount tires up on here, forgive me but it's been a while and I've deleted our msgs so i dont know his name, but they have a PC program that can answer nearly every question you have. After I told them I replaced tbe UCAs and swapped out my crash bars for readybuilts and the front leveling kit I was installing they knew the parameters that would fit for any combo's. They researched a supplier who found my rims in the color and style I wanted then he knew what offset to order them in and what size tires would fit. I was ecstatic ! I'm old school I don't care for big gaudy wheels and skinny tires even if it gave me the stance I wanted. I bought my truck with 18" wheels but discovered I could get more sidewall protection for my wheels, a slightly wider stable stance and ride comfort they helped me zero in quickly on the size tire then it was personal preference on tire specs and looks. I wanted 3 peak tires for road, mud and snow a bit aggressive look but pretty quiet and very comfy for my liking. The sound deadening I installed also made them more quiet. There's my 2 cents worth. Hope it helps

P.s. after all that the only rubbing I discovered was backing out of my slightly sloped driveway and turning the wheel nearly all the way I had a minor rub on the front plastic splash guards, I took them off and cleanly trimmed them along the factory crease and reinstalled them, you can't even tell I trimmed them and zero rub.

Oh and once we found rims we liked we created a profile on the discount tire website and were able to see the wheels on a stock look 2019 screw in saber.
