Sadly I have no pictures of my first few vehicles.

First vehicle - 1973 Chevy K10 - paid $200 for it in 1996.

First Ford - 1987 Ford Ranger - paid $600 for it in 1999.

The rest are kind of a blur of junk cars that got me by.

In 2007 I bought a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. Traded the Ram in 2017 for a 2017 Dodge Challenger, then at the end the lease I traded the Challenger in for the 2020 Ranger. These three vehicles are pictured below.

I have had 4 Rangers;(1) 1987, (2) 1985 (POS, lasted a month), (3) 1986 (it was a great truck. I sold it to a former coworker in 2008 and he still drives it today, and (4) my current 2020. I seem to always come back to the Ranger. ?‍♂

I've had mainly GM cars, couple hondas, toyotas, and 2 nissans. I'm never going japanese cars again. I loved my wife's old kia and current hyundai. korean engineering is better than japanese. My parents always had plymouth or a chrysler. oddly I have never owned a chrysler, dodge, jeep, plymouth product or a european car

Well..... i have a bad habit with not keeping cars..... But my second and third cars were thunderbirds. 1997 first and 1996 second. The first one was bone stock aside from some light exhaust work. The second one was completly built, prepped, and ready for a S/C but never got around to it. After it's port and polish we were around 340 RWHP, which for that 4.6 was pretty dang impressive.

1985 crew cab 1 ton diesel, nicknamed Big Red. Parents bought new and then it was my brother's first car in 1992, and then my first car in 1994.

And as someone who literally learned to drive in a crew cab, 8ft bed F350, trucks are too dang big now!

1968 Mustang GT (highland green, although hard to tell in this old Polaroid). “J” code car, so 302 4bbl. Pretty sure it was the Summer of ‘74. Hood mounted ”Dixco” tach, chrome reverse wheels (they were cool at the time) even the 1/2 moon chrome headlight covers LOL. Thrush straight glass pack. i probably should have died in that car a couple of times .... insert ancient photo:

Interestingly enough my first Ford had the same motor, 2.3 Turbo

But it was not what comes to mind first, the Mustang SVO

It was the lesser-known variant - THUNDERBIRD TURBO COUPE!

Had about 1/3 the torque as the Ranger

If counting High School, then a 1958 Golden Hawk Studebaker. They had been out of business for a while, learned a lot from this car on being a dumb high school mechanic.

First (Ford) 1973 Mach 1 429SCJ Mustang (dark green). Bought it new... It was a thirsty beast!
Looking for old polaroid's.
Trained on my Dad's 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 (406 CI).

In my 'nearly broke and desperate' days (1976), my Mom and Dad gave me a Turquoise 1963 Ford Fairlane coupe they bought from their neighbors. It served me well (ok, maybe just got me by), but gave me some breathing room to get caught up.

Over the years, we've owned several Fords. My wife drove F150's, I mostly stayed with Chevrolet/GMC trucks. But the last one I had was a real POS, and swore off General Motors then. Had my Ranger for about 2 years now, really like it. But I have to admit, I'm intrigued with the Maverick.
