What was your first Ford daily driver?

I’ve had 16 cars/trucks (5 Fords) and 3 motorcycles in 32 years of driving. Crazy that I had the last F-150 for ten years. Most were bought on a whim or desperate need replaced too quickly. I wasted a lot of money over the years.

3rd car 1997 dodge avenger.. pos..
4th car 1994 ford lightning.
5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th were 60s ranchero, falcon, maverick all were projects..
10th was a 2004 f150 supercrew fx4 new body style.
11,12,13,14 were a 62 ranchero, 61 falcon futura 170ci t5 and 4 wheel disc brakes, 1962 falcon station wagon, 1963 falcon sprint hardtop.
15 was a 2010 mustang v6 manual trans.
16 was a 2008 base model ranger.
17 was the kids 1998 ranger that became his at 18yrs old.
18 was a 2013 f150 stx with 5.0 coyote 4x4.
19 was a 1964 fairlane wagon
20 was a 1965 f100 4x4
21 is a 1963 falcon squire wagon with factory bucket seats
22 was a 2015 f250 crew cab short bed 4x4 6.7 diesel.
23 is the 2nd kids 2003 explorer..
24 was a 1960 f250
25 is the 3rd kids 2008 escape
26 is the wife's 2016 fusion.
27 was a 1970 pinto wagon.. 302 t5
28 was a 2018 f350 crew cab long bed 4x4 6.7l
29 is the 2020 ranger lariat fx4..

Actually there was a 2007 jeep compass pos in there somewhere.
3 kia vehicles collision replaced not at my expense. No.more kia for us they're collision targets..
Wife replaced fusion with mazda cx3..

Only because the current escape is ugly and i dont buy ford to buy a roller skate made in India..

My first daily driver back in 67 when I turned 16 was a 57 Ford Ranchero till 70 when I purchased my Mach1. Started out in a truck looks like I might end in a truck. Not all bad.

Our first Ford DD was a 1985 LTD sedan which was my dad's DD until he passed. Unfortunately for us it was totaled in a broadside crash at an intersection near Pompano Beach. We replaced it with a used 85 Merc Grand Marquis which, since wifey needed it as a DD, turned out be a big time lemon.

THE LTD was the light tan in the attached pic & just by coincidence was the same color as the Merc!!!

The Ranger is the first Ford I have ever owned.

My first car, a Monte Carlo was a hand me down from my mother in the mid 90's.

Unfortunately as a child of 1981 this was my Monte Carlo.... I guess it could have been worse and I could have been given the four door version Lumina.

The first car (and first manual transmission) I purchased with my own money was a 1999 Acura Integra. I was infatuated with the Type R at the time, but could never afford one. Closest I could come was a clean mock up job.

Probably the most fun car I have ever owned (circa 2012) was not actually a car, but with some clever trickery I got it registered as one for road use. 1200lbs with an 1000 cc motor tied to a 5 speed. Topped out at about 80mph on the interstate. Did I mention it got about 60 miles to the gallon? I used it as a daily driver to work at the time when weather permitted. Actually put 11,000 miles on it before I sold it.
