If I were going mud terrain it would be the Falken WildPeak M/T as Ranger 2021 or the Nitto Grappler Trail Grappler M/T.

For an All Terrain tire IMO Durtracs are the most aggressive available and the best AT for off-road priority. Available 6 or 10 ply.

Essentially yes, using Plastidip.

Painting give you limitless custom options, and if you do proper prep work will last indefinitely. I cut the corner and tried PD, without prep work and wasn't happy.Since then, I found factory replacements in black/smoke from a 2021 Ranger black pack.

Lots of videos on dissaembly and painting yourself, or sending to a body shop for the work. Also lots of posts on here, search 'badges'.

Close up the black when I installed for the photo. I washed it later that day before install.

The front I disassembled and painted flat/semi-gloss blacks.

The front one is a 10mm deep socket for 2 stamped metal nuts on the back. You have to pull the guard above the grill under the hood, which is some pop out panel clips, and ??maybe a couple small bolts. Very easy.

The rear has a tiny, dimple at the bottom, so slide a pry tool under, and GENTLY pry it off. There are 2 stamped metal spring clips holding a post at either end. Start in the center and try to use as little pressure as possible. A second pry tool as soon as there's room. Plastic pry tools are fine.

Once the emblem pops off, there are 2 small bolts holding the camera bezel if equipped, and if drops off.

It's all very easy, but those post clips are troublesome. I'll get a photo for you shortly.

This is the back of the rear emblem.

The springs clips around the post are just a pressure fit in a round hole, but the clips them selves being stamped metal, have sharp edges, and if you tilt the emblem too far, they break the post.

They maybe serviceable with some hot glue, or epoxy, maybe.

Taking recommendations for either a 285/75/R17 or 285/70/R17 Tire. All Terrains or not as aggressive Mud Terrains are preferred. I’ve ran many tires and brands but not on a 2020 Ranger. I’ll be going with some sort of 3-3.75” lift. Thanks in advance!

Here’s a couple pics of the ole steed

I’ve run Firestone destination AT on my last 4 trucks except for my 1990 f350 I still have, my tires guy talked me into some bag of shit coopers that I wish I put enough miles on the truck to wear the pos out, went back to destinations with the ranger, although I kind of wish I tried the little more aggressive XT instead of the AT

I just got some Falken Wildpeaks last week and I like them. Drove 500 miles on them this week and truck handles so much better than with the factory tires. These are what should have come with the FX4 package.

Truck looks awesome, it's sitting perfectly in my opinion. Did you size up?

285/70/R17 Wildpeak AT3W. Love them, marginally louder than the stock Dueler's that came on the truck. Put roughly 4k on them, absolutely no complaints.
