My 2001,and 2011 Corvette’s came with run flats.
First thing I did was get them off the car.
‘Put and inflater and plug kit in the car and done.Would always get me to a tire shop for repair or replacement.
Getting rid of the unsprung weight of the tire, and adding in a little sidewall flex just made for a better driving, and handling vehicle.
That all being said though,I did go with an e rated tire on my Ranger.Playing in the desert here eats sidewalls etc,so a sacrifice in weight penalty was made for durability.
Get a tire that suits your needs based on use and rock on!
