My case, I didn’t want red again.
The dealer had 4 tremors, mine (xlt) a lariat, and 2 with those stupid stickers.
I didn’t want a lariat.
The 2 colors I wanted had those dumb stickers.
No way I was paying ford an extra $700.00 for stickers that probably cost $50.00.
And no way was i driving a matchbox truck.
So race red again it was

I got carbonized gray which is what I wanted, but if I couldn't get that, maybe a blue one. I was stupid and got paste wax on the wide black metal trim on the doors between the windows. Any tips on how to clean it off? I have tried alcohol and simple green so far.

I didn't care what color the truck was as long as it wasn't black.

I just wanted one equipped the way I wanted, and that one happened to be white.

I custom ordered mine in white back in 2019, but if I were to order one today, it would be Azure Gray Metallic.

I wasn't too picky when I was looking. There were 3 trucks that met my criteria near me when I was looking. One dealer had Cactus Gray and White. The other had Rapid Red. I preferred red and gray. The gray truck sold before I was ready to reserve anything, so I put a temporary deposit on the red truck. If it had fallen through, I guess I would have tried the white.

easy fix... take off the TGD

First throw that old paste wax out and jump into the 21st century with some 303 Graphene. ? You can spray it on everything from plastic, rubber trim, headlights and all the glass. It'll protect it and wipe right off without leaving a white film.

As far as the dried wax you can try a Magic Eraser and if that doesn't work this stuff will . It will also restore any fading black plastic too.

I wanted either red or black and I wanted dealer stock but Ford didn’t offer a red similar to the colour of my 2001. The only Scab I could find in red was HPR and that didn’t appeal to me so my choice was then limited to Shadow Black.

I’m also fine with the effort needed to keep a black vehicle looking good - my 1996 Ranger was black and my Passat is black so I’m used to the extra work required.

Then Race Red came out a couple of years later and now I’m all jelly of Soupie and the others. ?

What if you did NOT get the color of your truck, which color would you choose?

If I had ordered mine, instead of buying it off the lot I'd have gone cactus grey. I'd also likely have gone FX4 (though I'm missing at this point just the trail cruise control because I added TM, bigger tires).
