Lol That damper was the only good thing about the Taco! It was the first time I ever had one in a truck and it was nice the way it's integrated into the tailgate housing. The first time I dropped the tailgate I was like...?

Admittedly there is something kinda fun about watching it slow fall. I drop my buddies Taco tailgate every now and then just to watch it. Using it on my own truck though, YUCK!

See that’s the thing that might have saved Doc. If he had a tailgate damper he could have done the 1/4 mile and it still wouldn’t have been all the way down!
