PPE Deep Pan #328053600 arrived this afternoon.

PPE said this model is good for years 2017-2024. It replaces #328053100 which was available for some models from 2017-2020. The instructions were also fixed to show 8ft lbs for the pan bolts, instead of the mistaken 18-22ft lbs. meant for the drain plug.

The reason I went with the deep pan was because of my travel trailer purchase. Plus my truck is on 33’s and always has my bed rack/RTT mounted on it. I figured the extra fluid can only help once we hit the hot/humid summer months of South Florida. I’m also taking a trip to Oregon/Washington in August.

i need to get one of these for mine. love that it has a drain. im still a bit shocked that ford didnt include a drain on the transmission.
I believe our transmission fluid is expected to go 150k miles. Not that I ever planned on going that far anyways. The pan being a throw away item at that point and replaced.

Not in the mail but for my birthday.

I was a Texas state-certified firefighter and paramedic, and a volunteer for a few years. It was something I loved doing and a wonderful experience in a small rural community (pop. 2,000). About 70% of US fire departments are all-volunteer and another 15% are partly volunteer. That's about 650,000 volunteer firefighters.

Anyway I've always wanted my own Halligan Bar and, even though that was 30+ years ago, Kate indulged me with this officer's version for my bithday this week (24" vs 30" and lighter for old farts). =p

Soupie's ready for locked doors in all those burning buildings we come across ... or the zombie apocalypse! =D

thinking of mounting it on top of the case with stainless steel clips

Now if I ever get challenged as Dump Boss I can have this in one hand and that 30" breaker bar in the other. And with the ferocious Cheech at my side, my role as Dump King is pretty secure!

nothin' says Tough Guy quite like a teal sweater! =D

They are great tools, for sure. I carried one in my patrol car for years.

When I think of David’s title being challenged at the dump, all I see now is this…

New windshield wipers to replace the winter blades.
Even with shipping, Rock Auto was still cheaper than Walmart.

I got a programming cable for my Icom 2730, so I don't have to manually enter all the channels I want to monitor and the headlight plug from LightForce. This will let me run a trigger wire from the brights to my Garmin PowerSwitch and have my forward facing lights come on with the brights. Since I use the auto-brights, this will be super handy on drives out in the boonies.
