After a pretty long wait........
‘Ordered sept 11th 2020,My rear Icon shocks showed up today!!!!!!!!!

Now I can finally finish off my stage 2 setup!

The front is amazing compared to stock, and I must admit, the Rough Country shocks I installed on the rear to get me by,served me very well. That being said, though,I will be installing the Icons post haste!
pics of course

Well this is my attempt at artistic license (please don't zoom too close). I wasted a LOT of time and effort on this. The paint sticks but since it's squishy foam, any pressure cracks it and it peels. All I got out of it is a nice picture before it all comes apart and flakes off. More lipstick!

This looks great! If it ends up cracking and peeling too much, try orange PlastiDip - it's flexible and sticks to just about everything.

That looks really nice! I did the ones on Jolene some years back and they have held up well. Gets super warm under that hood. First time I touched the one on the Ranger it was weird that it was spongy. It was like when drinking what you think is a Coke that turns out to be sweet tea. Not sure how white will do on the truck even in Plastidip.

Those look really nice! I painted the air cover on my Harley and it has held up really well for years but it's aluminum.

I had a couple of large flakes taken out of the Ranger cover when I had my oil changed this week so eventually I'll have to redo it. It took a lot of coats because the paint wants to run really bad on that foam.

Wonder why they made it out of foam? That's a first for me.

Maybe helps deaden the direct injection clatter?
Hi Tfisher15,

When I purchased my 2019 Lariat, I popped the hood and saw this engine cover. Being an Ford NVH Technical in my past...I knew immediately that this was a sound deadening addition to the Lariat package. And....It works...

Best,

I have been receiving my Lariat mirror swap supplies. Wires, connectors, connector pins, cable sleeving , and the crown - 1 Lariat mirror in Oxford white! Still searching for the driver side.
I have a thread started to document my plan and eventual step by step install HERE.
