🤔 You could've had venison.

Just saying😜
Never had that on pizza but they do have Elk on pizza up here. Samples below

  • WILDWEST
Elk sausage, onion, black olives, and fresh tomato

  • BUTCHER BLOCK
Pesto, elk sausage, prosciutto, roasted garlic, mushrooms, caramelized onion, and blue cheese.

Nah, mom was standing by watching. Besides had to go pick up a pizza.
I don't know. I'd take some grilled straps over a pizza any day!!😁

I'd definitely try it!

I guess you're lucky it could've been worse. He could've just come right in whether you wanted him to or not. o_O

Yes it's AI.

Took it skiing. Damn it was foggy! Then went home to shovel the deck and deer were begging to come in out of the cold, wet snow.

That snow looks pretty darn slow Steve. Did you have to skate and pole your way down?

I have deer in the yard a lot but they never come up on the deck to my patio door. They do stop and stare back at me when they see me in the kitchen window. It’s interesting to watch how momma hangs back and watches out for them. There are usually five of them this year - two mommas and three young ones. When they are out front and a car comes down the street, they scurry - one doe leads the three fawns away from the car, down the street and between two houses, back into the ravine. The other doe hangs back on the side of the road until they are out of sight. If the car stops and turns into a driveway, she heads down after them. If it continues down the road, she goes several houses down and then into the ravine.

It sure looks like teamwork and diversion tactics to me.

It was a little heavy and deep, not like the usual light powder we get. Five inches overnight so heading back up.⛷

Ranger once again got me safely to and from Brundage and snow has melted from running boards as it safely sits in the garage. The overnight snow was much better.

I don't like the cold & snow anymore but I do miss skiing. That picture brings back memories of going up north to VT and catching the first runs on fresh powder. Standing at the top it was so silent and surreal. I use to love skiing the Glades trail where they wouldn't groom it and you had to cut your own trail down. That was fun skiing and hard work!

Wow currently you have this: (What IS all that white stuff???)
And we have this: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-01-06/australia-heatwave-most-significant-in-six-years/106200088
Luckily we're far enough North to avoid the worst of it, it's actually quite cool here today for this time of year, maybe only about 30 Deg C but it's overcast and sticky, will probably get a storm later.

It's a strange world.

Strange world indeed. When I left work and headed for home it was 80 degrees and sunny with a little bit of wind.

You might be getting the cold front moving through today/tonight. It's been great here and in the high 60's low 70's and yesterday we had torrential rains all day that lasted 11 hours which is unusual here. Today is really windy and has dropped to the mid 50's and will be low 30's for the next 5-6 days. 🥶

What did I do WITH my Ranger today?
Well, it started off with me falling out of bed onto the floor, oh wait, that’s another story.
I started the Ranger remotely while I was gathering up all my ”get in the Ranger and go stuff” and donning my flop hat so as to look much cooler to go out in public. Then I casually meandered out yonder to where the Ranger is backed under the carport so as to protect if from the burning sun which was not acting very “sun like” today. I reached into my pocket and pressed the Ranger remote unlock button while stumbling down the back deck steps, opened he drivers door, gathered all of my bone rattling might, and popped up into the Ranger driver seat while adjusting my lumbar support cushion into the proper position. Then I pushed the little silver switchblade button which popped out the key, and inserted it into the ignition and turned it one click which then officially brought the Ranger to life. Then, as I mentioned in another post, I shifted the transmission selector lever into NEUTRAL and left it idle for a few moments while fastening the choke straps, adjusting the ”climate control”, checking the fuel level, battery voltage, and searching the best Sirius XM channel.
To make a long story short, I drove to Smithfield to the Gourmet Bakery, had french toast with country ham of course washed down with four cups of coffee.
Then I drove the Ranger home and backed her into her protective carport.
THE END
(PS, it’s so nice to drive the Ranger without that grinding center support bearing)
