Pulled this stupid old rv from behind the car garage area. It has 6 tires, only 3 turned, only 4 had air. Rear driver brake was locked up.
I pulled the rv in the blue azure Ranger, the white f150 pulled me.
Worked the trucks hard thats for sure

Anyone want an rv? For free!

Nothing big, just a small dump run before heading to the office (living the dream, baby!). =D

But ... what could be any better than that?

Another Ranger!

And what's even better than that? It was a scab! =)

Too bad it wasn't Race Red, only the bestest color ever! =p

Went to go to work and the battery is dead. Wife leaves before me so I'm waiting on AAA.
OE battery is 5 years old so I knew it was on borrowed time and planned on getting a new one before winter anyway.
This sounds terrible - bah on being stranded. Like you, AAA is my actual toolkit. Sure, I have loads of tools with me, but there's no way I'd ever fix anything on the Ranger.

Now my old FJ40, no problem - pull and clean the carb on a sand dune? No problem. Fix a broken clutch arm to limp home from Austin to Dallas, easy.

Window won't one touch on the Ranger, holy crap, call the tow truck! =D

BUT ... your post makes me wonder. On that old FJ, once started, you can pull the battery completely out and it still runs.

BUT ... on the Ranger, if the battery fully dies, like yours did, would it even start with a battery jumper?

Lord, if the answer is "no", I may need to lower my payload and carry a spare battery!!! =D

Had a blast with Ranger on Cherohala Skyway. Started at Tellico and headed up to Stratton Gap. 22 miles of Sport mode fun going up hill. Porsche Group must have had a run today. As I was going up I saw about 100 Porsche drivers heading downhill. Saw several groups of between 3-10 or so in different groups. They sure sound amazing at high RPMs!

Cut off at Stratton Gap on FS81 (Santeetlah Creek Rd) to do some fly fishing for wild Brookies at about 4500’ elevation. Spent a few hours chasing trout. Took Santeetlah road downstream to where it hit Cherohala Skyway and I headed back towards Tellico Plains for 35 miles of Sport mode bliss. I ran into the Porsche groups returning to their start point. I think they were a little surprised when the Ranger went by them at about 4000 RPMs.

This truck is fun in Sport mode ??

Yes, that's all the AAA guy used. Just needed to kick it over so I could get to the Auto Zone across town for a new battery. Problem was that my wife leaves for work before I do so her minivan was gone and I had nothing to jump it with.

Got the roof, front end, and doors clay bar'd and waxed to get ready for Carlisle this weekend.
3rd Place in the 2019+ Ranger class last year.
Got 3rd Place again. More trucks in the late-model class this year so the competition was a little stiffer.

Took Roxy Ranger up to the Grand Canyon's South Rim, and then back into Kaibab National Forest to do a little disbursed camping and wheeling. Found a great little secluded spot in a grove of pines several miles back and wandered around about 35 miles worth of trails in the wilderness.
